Weekend wedding getaway
This was a perfect hideaway located 15 minutes from Beacon where the wedding was. It was reasonably priced and had so many cute accents. The host was on top of all the details and very nice in person. Would definitely recommend. The only thing I would say just for an fyi it’s better for a couple as it’s a full size bed. I went with my teen daughter and it was too small for both of us in the bed so we alternated the couch. Not a minus at all but more an fyi. Thanks so much for hosting us.

Perfect cozy getaway
This was the perfect place to spend the night with our two dogs. The decor was so well done and the kitchen was fully equipped. The photos don't do the space justice; it is larger that it looks in them. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Great Location
Excellent vibe. Clean and cozy, heaters work fantastic. Kitchen area everything you need. Bathroom clean. Bed comfy, couch comfy. Great layout. Take note of instructions for heaters and bathroom, if staying in the winter.

Incredible!
It was our first weekend trip away together and I don't think we could've picked a better spot for it. About 15 mins away from Beacon NY, and it has all the amenities you need and more. The owners are very easy to deal with and even gave us a late check out. Everything in the place works very well and there are clear instructions on how to use all of it.

A Hidden Gem
So we traveled from PA for a friend's wedding and local lodgings in Poughkeepsie were hard to come by...I came across this unexpected treasure via VRBO and it fit our need perfectly! Perfect Weekend Getaway
Had a wonderful stay at this Newburgh gem. Close to wineries and antique shops and great restaurants. The unit has all you need for a quick weekend getaway and is well appointed and decorated. All within a short drive from NYC. Strongly recommend.

Quiet and Cozy Stay
We had a quiet and cozy stay in this well kept and clean apartment studio here for one night which was perfect for Storm King and Dia Beacon adventures. It was extremely cold outside but the stove and gas heater kept us toasty and warm all night. Nice to be close to both towns and have the comfort of a home instead of a hotel room. Would recommend to others as it was a great experience.

This property was adorable. It is outfitted with everything that we needed and the hosts left us a ton of recommendations(ice cream rec was amazing). Hosts were highly responsive and we enjoyed out stay immensely!

Adorable
Spent just one night, but would have enjoyed more. The place is adorable, with its single room (separate bathroom, of course) containing all you'd need for a few days, plus an outdoor grill, table, and chairs. We had difficulty finding it the first night because (a) it was late and we were tired, and (b) our GPS didn't label the road correctly. If you should have the same problem, just turn on the road it SHOULD be, and it'll be right. Would stay again if we're in the neighborhood -- and now that we know where to turn.

I was just so happy with your BNB. I loved everything about it: the most comfortable bed and sheets I’ve ever slept in, all ( and I mean ALL the comforts of home, LOVED the shower and am so curious how you got the towels to smell sooooo good. Can’t say enough good things. No complaints at all.

HOW BAD? FOUND DIRTY WOMEN'S UNDERWEAR UNDER PILLOW!
Place was filthy with cob webs and bugs everywhere, hair and dirt stuck to stove, bed had NOT been changed as you could see the body imprints in the sheets and pillows, AND to top it all off there was used dirty nasty women's underwear under the pillows by the head board... a clear biohazard. Foyer is dark like night and light in ceiling is out. Also they don't tell you on the web site that they have well water and that it smells like sulphur and the odor fills the whole room. You have to read the little notes stuck everywhere. When showing the host these things she accused us of trying to get "something for free" Couldn't believe it. Didn't want anything, especially we didn't want to stay is such smelly nasty quarters. We left after finding dirty underwear under our pillows... you would have too! Had to quickly find another place... which cost us $140 more and host is fighting refund!!

John, It appears your opinion about our BNB differs from all of our guests. Please see previous guest reviews. Especially about how clean it is. All of your statements are false. Bnb was cleaned right before you arrived, and it was spotless. By the time you left you had the place a mess. again, please read all guests reviews on how clean and nice our place is.

Great place for a quiet getaway
Good location, close to plenty of winter activities and hiking trails. Kitchen is well stocked to make eating in easy. Cozy place with a pellet stove to keep you nice n toasty. Phyllis was very responsive and helpful.

Nice place, deer come right up to the deck
This is a nice comfy, spacious home, lots of hooks and spaces to hang and put things, remarkably cool despite no AC with the use of a few fans in the closets and the ceiling fan - over 90 degrees out and nice and comfortable inside. Good bed, great shower, very quiet and restful. So sweet how many young deer come up to the deck to say hello and get some corn. Neighbors are a bit closer than expected but it was quiet/fine.

Perfect cozy getaway
The one room space was exactly what was pictured and what was needed. Wood pellet heater added a super calming level of comfort and the decor of the room was perfect. Will definitely be coming back.
