Your own secluded mountain haven awaits at this exquisite log cabin home. Rustic charm harmonizes with modern comfort and a warm, inviting ambiance enhanced by beautiful log beams throughout. Outside, multiple decks and enclosed sunrooms provide spectacular vantage points for soaking in the sweeping vistas. Perched on the edge of the George Washington National Forest in the enchanting Shenandoah Valley, this home offers an unparalleled escape into nature’s beauty and tranquility.  
Whether you seek relaxation or adventure, this property delivers with nearby opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and golf. Your mountain paradise awaits, offering both peaceful solitude and thrilling outdoor pursuits. Embrace the perfect blend of serenity and adventure in this mountain retreat, where every day feels like a getaway.  
  
3 BR, 2 Baths  
Bedroom 1: top floor, King bed, shares main level bath  
Bedroom 2: top floor, Two single beds, shares main level bath  
Bedroom 3: lower floor, Master- King bed with ensuite bath  
  
All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available.   
  
4 wheel drive is required to access the home during the winter months, November- March.  AWD or 4WD is required year round.  The driveway is very steep and is a mountainous road. The HOA does not plow the road until at least four inches of snow have fallen.  Must have a 4WD to access the home in the winter!  
  
Guests do not have access to the two sheds located near the house.  
  
\*The HOA requires the following rules:   
Respect the surrounding owners' privacy and quiet enjoyment of their properties.   
There is a 15mph speed limit for safety on the private road and for road preservation.  
Firearms are prohibited for discharge while on the property.   
Dogs are not allowed to be off leash at this property.  
\*This home is located in the woods. You will likely see insects (including some that fly) and arachnids. Please be aware they may come inside when doors are opened, especially when lights are on inside.   
\*Minimum age to book is 25.  
\*Fires are strictly prohibited at this property except in the designated fire pit provided. A spark screen must be used at all times and the fire may NEVER be left unattended.

Beautiful views in a very comfortable home. We absolutely loved our week in Aubrey’s Nest. The view is stunning, the area is quiet, and we saw a deer and doe playing in the side yard. Corn hole and other games are available, and two gathering rooms allow separate areas for different groups like adults and kids. Highly recommend this rental!Favorite places: Muse, Wolf Gap, and Kindred Point wineries, Luray Caverns and Skyline Drive/hiking in Shenandoah National Park

#### Beautiful and Cozy get away

The property provided amazing views being so high up in the mountains!! We enjoyed watching storm clouds roll in as well as deer grazing in the yard. (They are not kidding about needing all wheel drive to access the property)The cabin itself has a cozy rustic feel while still providing modern conveniences (especially appreciated the AC, wifi access, and comfortable beds). Our family enjoyed the many games available and had a fun, ongoing corn hole competition during our stay ;)Upon check in there was apparently a miscommunication with the cleaning crew schedule however, the property manager was very responsive to messages, responding quickly and resolving the issue in a timely manner which made all the difference. Throughout our stay the property manager was available via messaging to answer any questions that came up.I would definitely stay here again!

Start to finish this cabin is as advertised...clean, comfortable, and secluded. Definitely need the 4x4 to tackle the road and driveway but its worth it. Easy and frequent communication with the rental company was appreciated, even though we didnt have need for anything during our stay. A great middle-ish location for Shenandoah NP and surrounding area.

Beautiful property, beautiful setting. Property manager was amazingly responsive to all issues, even late at night. Quickly arranged for service on the a/c system even for an issue that turned out to be our mistake.Two minor downsides to the property: No bathroom on the upper (bedroom) level, a minor inconvenience, and no screens on windows and doors, so no fresh breeze when the weather suits but insects do not.

#### Heaven on a mountain

Staying at Aubrey’s Nest was one of the best vacations of our life. The cabin is the perfect mix of cute and rustic with every beautiful modern amenity you could want. The property managers are a delight to work with and provide so many extra little touches like a handwritten note, welcome snacks and a marshmallow roasting kit to greet us. The views from the decks and sunrooms are just as incredible as the pics show, even more so honestly. Our week at this utterly charming cabin was so relaxing and restorative and we hope to make it a family tradition to return. Can’t say enough good things about this place and its kind hosts!

#### Great place to relax!

We had great family time! We loved the interior of the cabin and we enjoyed the views from the balcony even do weather was not great. Its a short distance from many sites you can visit. The downside was the cleanliness of the cabin other than that great trip!

#### Perfect Peaceful Getaway

Our family needed some soothing rest and relaxation, and this home was perfect! We soaked in the ambiance of the beautiful rustic interior and delighted at the million dollar views. What a great trip! We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Aubrie’s Nest! It was convenient to many sites that we wanted to visit. The house itself was great! We loved the layout and all its amenities! It was nice relaxing in the back deck overlooking the valley. We will definitely be back!
