Parts of the property were under construction which made driving back a little interesting. Didnt help that it rained and a cold front came thru. But didnt stop us from utilizing the pool. I dont think id stay in megs boarding house again though and would definitely upgrade to a newer cabin. But glad i got to experience staying in there. Was very adorable, but walls are super thin and we were upstairs and man those stairs are steep ...and i get it...its old fashioned megs boarding house lol. But there was even dirt marked on the ceiling.. Over all, Had a great experience. The whole pioneer town is amazing and absolutely loved it. I didnt know there was a scavenger hunt. Next time i will definitely take part in that! Down town wimberly shopping center is right up the road, great places to eat, And hike! In the evenings you will see deer all over the properties it was beautiful! Heb is also right up the road so that was nice.
