Einen Tag vorher schickten wir eine E-Mail mit unserer erwarteten Ankunftszeit und dass wir ungefähr eine halbe Stunde vor unserer Ankunft anrufen würden. Als wir an der Schlüsseladresse in Neuenstein ankamen, wurden wir bereits von dem überaus freundlichen Besitzer empfangen, der uns dann zur Wohnadresse in Mühlbach, einem kleinen Nachbardorf, ein paar Kilometer entfernt, fuhr. Es ist ein schönes und gepflegtes Haus in einer Sackgasse (nicht asphaltierte Straße) auf einem Hügel mit viel Privatsphäre. (Hinweis: Die Navigation des Autos selbst sowie Google Maps und Waze senden Sie nicht an den richtigen Punkt in Mühlbach, wenn Sie die Adresse eingeben, sind Sie dann am Fuße des Hügels, also geben Sie die Koordinaten ein.) Wenn der Wind Falscher Zustand ist die weiter entfernte Autobahn A7 deutlich zu hören, aber nach einiger Zeit hört man das eigentlich nicht mehr. (Vielleicht, weil wir das auch zu Hause gewohnt sind.) Leider ist der Garten nicht vollständig eingezäunt, aber zum Glück ist das kein Problem für unsere 2 Border Collies, denn sie bleiben immer noch in unserer Nähe und hören gut zu und auf der anderen Seite von die Sackgasse konnten wir mit ihnen mit dem Ball oder Frisbee "s spielen. Die nächsten Supermärkte fanden wir in Bad Hersfeld (Lidl, geöffnet bis 21 Uhr und Rewe geöffnet bis 22 Uhr. Beide sind sonntags geschlossen). Die Hütte ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und andere Tagesausflüge, wie zum Beispiel nach Fulda, Eisennach, Waldeck und Edersee, oder zum amerikanischen Heeresposten CheckPoint Alpha, dem ehemals westlichsten Grenzübergang mit der damaligen DDR, der inzwischen zu einem Museum geworden ist Hundert Meter entfernt "Haus der Deutschen Einheit" Wir hatten dort einen hervorragenden Urlaub, und es ist eine Adresse, die für uns nominiert ist, auf jeden Fall wiederzukommen. ##### Ronald B.
