Great Service
Very welcoming reception and restaurant team and comfortable room. Food in the restaurant was excellent. The only downside was it was very hot and the hotel room had no air conditioning, so not the most comfortable nights sleep

Beautiful classy hotel in a great location
Beau Rivage Hotel is a beautiful hotel with old-world class but new-age convenience located in an outstanding location on Neuchatel lake, minutes from the old city. The room was of good size, very clean and well-furnished. The window was of moderate size but showed a pleasant joint view of city and lake. The personal were all very pleasant and helpful, assisting us with restaurant reservations and directions. We enjoyed a small continental breakfast in the Bistro restaurant, which has lovely lake views. It wasn't cheap, but included very nice pastries and the location and elegance were worth it. A nice surprise at the end- the parking which was right on site, in front of the hotel- was free. This is a lovely hotel, highly recommended !

Check in was cool. They could not find the reservation at first. One of the most famous painful points is the waiting time at check-in. If they know I’m arriving and they already have a credit card come on the key and the rooms should be ready immediately. The staff was also not particularly friendly.

Disappointing stay
While the decor of this hotel is lovely and the room size is quite large, the mattresses are a COMPLETE disaster. Would have had a better sleep on a concrete floor. The staff were dismissive and extraordinarily unhelpful. I left after the first night's stay as it was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever encountered but was charged for the full 3 night's booking. Highly unprofessional. For a Relais & Chateau property, I definitely expected better comfort and much better service. We will not be returning.

Un hôtel de prestige très bien placé près du lac
Très bel hôtel, de prestige, on est clairement dans un 5 étoiles. Les chambres sont assez spacieuses, même sans vue elle est agréable. Les parties communes sont de qualité, le restaurant très bien. Le personnel aux petits soins. Top niveau !

Enttäuschend !!!
Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, als wir am Abend ins Zimmer kamen und das Bett nicht gemacht war. Für den doch stolzen Preis pro Nacht haben wir mehr erwartet. Als wir das an der Rezeption meldeten (ca. 23h30) sagte er, er wisse auch nicht warum das Zimmer nicht gemacht wurde und hat sich nicht einmal entschuldigt oder jemanden aufgeboten um das Zimmer zu machen. Ganz sicher kommen wir hier NIE WIEDER !

Toplage mit Grandhotel-Flair
Das Hotel an der Toplage ist ein "grosser Kasten". Die Zimmer sind aber gut, insgesamt alles Ok. Ein Teil des Gebäudes wird umgebaut, dadurch kann es tagsüber etwas Lärmbelästigung geben. Die Parkgebühr für eine Aussenplatz finde ich zu teuer. Sonst ist die Preis-/Leistung in Ordnung.

Weekendreise zu zweit
Der Aufenthalt bei Regen und Coronavorschriften hatte nicht alle Erwartungen gehalten. Das Hotel hatte nur kleine Kapazität von Tischen und Sitzgelegenheiten für die eigentlichen Hotelgäste bereit. Die meisten Plätze im Bereich der Bar/Kaffe waren am Nachmittag von auswärtigen Gästen besetzt, dasselbe auch am Abend. und am Morgen! So waren wir auf unser Zimmer oder auswärtige Restaurants angewiesen. Es sollte einen Bereich nur für Hotelgäste geben, bei einem Hotel mit 5 Sternen.Es fehlte eine Gemütlichkeit, die man unbedingt für Weekendgäste aufbringen sollte... auch zB SPA angebote wurden beim Check-in nicht angesprochen... ein eher nicht zu empfehlendes 5 * Haus
