Marina Bella Holiday Villa ‘Home from home’ with fantastic spacious terraces, this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom detached villa is fully-furnished with everything you need accommodating up to 6 people. Spacious dining area and living area where you can enjoy quality family time, an ample equipped kitchen, enjoy alfresco dining from the many terraces, with scented jasmine perfuming the air, and sunsets. From the dining area leads you out to the patio with sea views and private pool area with sun loungers. TV, satellite channels, BBQ area on the front patio and there is plenty to keep you entertained at home, with the added bonus of more to do right on your doorstep. Upstairs, you will find the master bedroom, with en-suite and balcony with stunning sea views. Two further twin-bedrooms, and roof terrace where you can happily enjoy a meal or a few drinks and watch the scenery change colors as the sun goes by. In the hotel opposite there is a spa, gym, Turkish bath open to the public. The villa has parking. 250m from the sea, shops. Regular bus service to Nerja.

Wonderful stay.
We were a party of 5 and had a lovely week at this villa. Communication with Gillian was very good and she answered our questions in a promt and professional manner. There was plenty of room inside and out for all of us and the pool was a real bonus. I would say that the property is a little tired, but it no way inpacted our experience and I think the very resonable price reflects that. I would happily stay here again. Two of our group weren't flying back until the eveving and were very kindly allowed to have use of the villa for the day which was really wonderful. All in all, we've had a great week. Thank you.

Lovely area
We enjoyed our 10 night stay at the villa. The arrival and check-out process with the key safe worked well. We got the address in advance of our arrival and any messages to the owner while we were there were dealt with quickly. Loved the area and being so close to the beach and an easy bus ride into town. We had some lovely early morning runs along the sea-front and back. Villa is a little tired and the kitchen wasnt very well equipped but i think it reflected the reasonable price we paid. The outside space didn't look quite like the photos and we had to move the table and chairs to various points to get shade for eating out. Love the pool but the filter seemed to give up working after a few days and it did get very mucky untill the pool cleaner came. We went onto the roof terrace once but its very basic up there with no furniture and there was old beer cans. Villa felt very spacious inside and AC worked well in the main bedroom. The ensuite bathroom really could do with the shower head fixing to the wall rather then having to hold it. We would definitely return to Nerja the town is lovely and the Oasis restaurant close to the villa was nice.

Lovely Location
We were very pleased with the location of the property, there’s a shop over the road for essentials and Lidl is about a 30 minute walk away, however there is a bus into Nerja that stops right outside Carrefour, which is great. The bus is great, it’s a euro each way for adults and children. The property size was great, the things that let it down are that it needs a bit of TLC. Nothing major but things like the shower in the en-suite bathroom was broken. Paint flaking off round the wall with the air-con. There were quite a number of ants but easily sorted, as we cleaned the drawers, cupboards of food. Pool was great. The sunbeds could’ve been cleaned. Only four sunbeds and there were six of us. None of this distracted from us having a lovely time. There are plenty of fantastic restaurants in Nerja, booking as advised as they fill up quickly. There is a market in Nerja, not as good as some we have been to. Air-con would be great in all the bedrooms, there are fans in the smaller bedrooms but worth thinking if all your party need them.

Overall it was not a great experience. The villa is approx 16 yrs old and has never been updated. In the first week we had about 18 issues that had to be addressed,. Some of the issues during our stay were the fridge died, the pool pump died, on the ground floor we had 8 bulbs that were out. Anyway the list was long, this unit needs some TLC.

A month in Nerja
We enjoyed our month in Nerja very much the house was big enough to accommodate 2 couples. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor areas taking long lunches on the patio several times. The Avalon Restaurant on the hill so close tothe house was wonderful. The 25 minute walk to town was perfect the distance along the beach. Many shops and restaurants to choose from! We will return again in near future.

Great location, clean property but facilities not great if 6 adults staying.
Property looks great online, and we were really looking forward to staying. The location is perfect - a 15 mins walk to Nerja, bus stop outside and beach across the road. Little shop at the hotel across the road for basics, but bus would take you to Carfor supermarket in town for a larger shop which was 2 mins on bus. However, our experience wasn't as I would have hoped. The address provided was different to the actual address - our private transfer driver spent half hour with us trying to figure out which was the correct villa as it wasn't clear to him either. Eventually, we found out from the neighbours as they knew the host. We also hadn't been sent access details in advance - they were sent whilst we were on the flight with no Internet through WhatsApp so we never received them. We were outside the property for 45 mjns before we got access, thankfully the neighbours invited my husband and children in out of the sun whilst I got it sorted. So not a great start. Once we were in the villa, we were really pleased with the space and layout. However, we then discovered there was no Internet- it took 2 days to get fixed. As a result, it was difficult communicating with the host as this was only done through WhatsApp, had to use mobile data in the end at a cost. There are only 4 sun loungers (although advertised with 4 loungers and a day bed, but no day bed when we were there) 4 dining chairs (with 2 random chairs you can pull up to table), and 4 outside seating area chairs - there were 5 or us in the family. If it was 6 adults renting the property, I may not have been that happy. Not enough glasses either; 2 wine glasses, 2 pint glasses, 2 tumblers....there should be at least 6 of everything. Wires at the back of the TV are hanging out the wall, so with small toddler's, this could be dangerous. Improving these facilities, and leaving a guest book of local taxis, the area, bus details, using the oven, restaurants, shops etc, this villa could be a great place to stay. We did enjoy our stay over all (and found a lovely restaurant called Oasis within the urbanisation), but it could have been so much better if the facilities were improved.

Great location but so many disappointments.
This is a lovely property in a great location and plenty of space for six people. BUT There was no information provided or welcome pack The internet never worked and the satellite TV channels were not accessible - there was no information on how they might be accessed. We asked for fans for the 2 bedrooms without air conditioning- it took 2 days for them to arrive meaning that the rooms were almost unbearably hot at night. The kitchen had no fire extinguisher or fire blanket. There were 3 bathrooms, but one is being used as a cleaning store with filthy mops. There was dirt around one of the baths and the 4 loungers outside (for 6 people!) had to be cleaned before we could use them. The pool had no light unlike its neighbours, the sun parasol was broken and we had to buy our own and leave it there. There was no lighting round the main outdoor eating area, the barbeque needed a good clean and there weren't even enough wine glasses for 6 people (in Spain!!) The facilities of the nearby hotel were not available - we asked and were refused. Some mattresses and beds were not the same size and one headboard was unattached and could not be fitted. The towel rails in the bathroom showed quite a lot of rust. This is not even a comprehensive list - it is not what we paid a lot of money for.
