Great location between Fairbanks and Denali with a beautiful view above the river oversee Nenana and walking distance to town. Great views of Denali and cool location to Alaskan Railroad would recommend for anybody considering staying in this area
We really loved this place. Spacious, nicely furnished, great getaway location. Communication with owners was easy and the location is secluded. We definitely have it at the top of our list for a future visit.
What an amazing house! We had a blast staying here and exploring the area. The rental is stocked with everything you need and then some. My kids loved the toys, books and snacks that were provided. The owner is lovely and easy to communicate with. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We had a truly wonderful stay at this BEAUTIFUL home in Nenana. It truly is so much better than the pictures can do it justice. It is so cozy and has everything you could need. The convenience to Nenana is unbeatable. We rode snowmachines and were able to watch the races and the tripod festitivies while being super close to the house for our kiddos (almost 2).

Remote
This place is very remote and hard to find. There were enough beds for our family of 7. But the upper level is a loft, just one big room. Great for a group of kids but not so great for couples. The kitchen and bedrooms downstairs have been redone but the rest of the house needs a little updating. Someone lives in the lower part of the house which we didn’t know until we got there. Not sure how often people stay here. There were pots of dead plants from last year on the railings and a large burnt spot on the deck.
We came across this lodge as we were looking for places to stay near Fairbanks. We were drawn to its big open spaces and location away from the city as a perfect place for a getaway. We are so glad we booked here!
The lodge was well-stocked with everything we needed and comfortable. The kitchen is large and functional which was important as we took most of our own meals. The living room and toys were a big hit with the kids.
The outdoor exploring options are endless and right out the door. For us these included snowmachining, sledding, snowshoeing, and CX skiing. It took an hour for us to drive to Fairbanks for a day trip. The hosts answered all our questions and had great recommendations for things to do.
Highly recommend this lodge if you are looking for a relaxing place away from the city as a retreat.
The home was simply perfect. Host was super welcoming and offered a wealth of info on what to do in fairbanks. Home had everything. It was clean, spacious and tucked away in the woods for a peaceful paradise. Both the adults and the kids enjoyed the house fully.
This house was amazing. I actually thought I was lost as I was driving down the road to get it. It was peaceful with great views. The extra amenities were amazing. Everything we needed (plus more) was available in the home. The spice collection made my day. The host was quick to respond to my questions and even gave me great ideas for things to do locally. The house would be great for a family with kids. There was lots of room to run.
