2 BDRM Railtown Suite has 1200 sqft of living area with wifi, cable TV, patio, coffee/tea bar, spacious lounge, full kitchen, gas fireplace, washer/dryer, and free parking as well.

The Railtown Suite is cozy warm with the gas fireplace in the winter and air conditioned in the summer months.

The keypad entry is convenient and easy to access your suite with the code we will give you.

A fenced stairway leads to your private entrance with a keyless entry. Continue around the corner to your private patio to enjoy a beautiful sunset nestled between the mountains.

This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

My husband and I had a fabulous time at this beautiful and cozy suite! It was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. There was also an incredible loaf of sourdough left for us that I am still dreaming on… A perfect stay!

Railtown!

We had a wonderful stay at the Railtown suite, definitely a home away from home. We were able to have family visits, share meals, enjoying time together in a comfortable homey atmosphere. Well stocked, walkable, clean, roomy….perfect. Thank you Chara!! Definitely recommended.

Super cute and close to town

The property is exactly as it is listed. Walk two blocks, and you are right in the heart of shopping and excellent restaurants. It was a great central location for hitting the ski hill as well. Chara had us set up with everything we needed and was responsive to questions. I will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely Rental

Our family of four adults traveled to Nelson to ski at Whitewater. We absolutely loved Chara's Railtown Suite. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed, and just a really homey feel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Walking distance to bakeries, restaurants and shopping. The main bedroom was very spacious with a sitting area (couch and chair) and the bed was very comfortable. Second bedroom is off the living area, also with a very comfortable bed and decorated so nice. Spacious bathroom with everything we needed...lotion, shampoo, hair dryer, etc. Very clean. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook a meal at home, which we did not do because we wanted to try some of the local dining establishments. The fridge stocked with condiments and coffee creamer. And the cupboards were stocked with just about anything you might need. We loved our stay here. We were especially grateful for the warm homemade sourdough that was waiting on the counter for us when we arrived. How did she know that we are crazy for sourdough? Such a nice touch. We want to come back next year and stay in this exact spot.Thank you Chara for your amazing hospitality and for your quick responses to my questions. You really made us feel at home.

Fantastic apartment in awesome location

The apartment provided a delightfully comfortable and convenient start to our trip. It had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It was beautifully appointed and such an easy short stroll to the main strip of Nelson. Chara was an excellent communicator. Would love to stay again and highly recommend.

This accomodation met all our needs and is open and airy, very clean with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect - very close to Baker Street and since it is near the railroad tracks, it's fun watching trains! Highly recommend!

Cozy in the Rain

While the rain didn't keep us from exploring, it was nice to home base out of this extremely convenient location--not to mention it was well stocked and super cozy (2 gas fire places!). The only down side is that you can hear the upstairs neighbors. They weren't noisy, just normal footfall and drifting conversations make their way down. But if you don't have a person in group particularly tuned into those things, it shouldn't affect your stay. You have to expect some upstairs noise when you're situated on a lower floor. Overall a great place: great communication with the owner, very clean, fun to watch the trains, everything we needed and more for a carefree mini-vacation. Thank you!

This house was so close to everything. Just a short walk up the hill to restaurants and shopping! The house was also very clean. The town was amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

Tucked away slice of paradise

Stayed in the upper loft last year but the Railtowm suite is just as charming and so well appointed. Chara’s genuine hospitality and eye for style and amenities make for an amazing stay. Location is fantastic, walk everywhere, so no fuss with pay parking or trouble in even finding a spot near Baker St. You won’t even notice the train and they are fun to see up close.

Beautiful weekend

The suite exceeded expectations and was roomy, cute and well stocked. Trains were right outside the window but quiet and fun to see, they didn’t disrupt our sleep at all. Super close to trendy baker street and good restaurants and cute shops. Highly recommend.

Charming hidden gem

Loved our stay here! Cozy, comfortable and charming decor, with all necessities supplied. Before arriving, we were a bit worried about being so close to the train tracks, but it wasn’t an issue at all. A couple of trains went by while we were there but they are very slow moving and quiet. It was fun to see them up close. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great location!

Our group of 4 had a short 2 night stay. This central location allowed us to walk everywhere and explore Baker Street. Beds were comfortable and we had all amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Chara welcomed us by leaving a delicious fresh baked load of sourdough bread along with oil/vinegar. She was a clear and prompt communicator. This listing is just as pictured and roomier than expected.

Kootenay Rat Raid

Cute, comfortable space. Very clean with a lot of amenities. We loved the town of Nelson. Great restaurants, beautiful scenery, friendly people. The host was very responsive! We would happily stay there again.
