Nice and close to town, thought would be noisy on main road but wasn't once door closed. Nice wee kitchen, comfy bed. Nice to not have white towels as find white towels so annoying. Would stay there again

Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Great shower. Good communication beforehand and during my stay. Nice smelling soap, shampoo and conditioner. Great location for airport and beach and only a few mins drive into Nelson town centre. Owner helped me by carrying my bags upstairs, really kind of him. As single female traveller, I felt safe and secure at the hotel. Useful supermarket style shop across road opposite hotel. Busy road but room was quiet. Slept really well.

Unit was spacious tidy clean. Good location. Easy walk to beach & local shops. Ir did have a NO SMOKING sign but there were ash trays on all the outside tables to encourage smoking???? Not sure about this

Lovely family owned and operated Motel, always helpful and accommodating. Close to town and other attractions. Set on a busy main road but quiet inside room. Shower pressure was excellent and great variety of channels and free wifi. Warm room with air conditioning available. Great black out curtains. Liked the patio with chair close to room. We enjoyed our stay here. Mattress needs replacement on queen bed as could feel and hear springs.

The room was spacious and the bed comfy. A small sofa in the living area was nice. I don’t like fixed head showers, rather old fashioned. Also would have liked more shelves/storage - the bedside tables were so small there wasn’t room for anything apart from the bedside lamp. The motel has a garden area with seating but is on a busy main road.

We stayed here for two nights in mid-December. The people running the Motel were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. The noise from the road next-door was not very loud, which was nice. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Good accom for a 1 night stay.

We had a one night stay and it worked out well for us as a family of four with the beach, take-aways, cafes nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful and even thought it is on a busy road the unit was quiet. The kitchen(ette) area is quite small so if staying longer you might feel cramped with 4 people in the space but it was fine for our purpose.
