National Hispanic Cultural Center Tours and Activities

I injured my toe on a step outside of the room at nighttime when we arrived and were unpacking the vehicle. The stair was completely in the dark, no light source shining on it.. I split my toenail in half, was gushing blood, and pain was 10/10. I went to the front desk to file a complaint, the front desk worker offered me two small bandaids, and said she would inform the manager. The next day I called to speak with the manager about the issue and the front desk worker had no idea about this issue, and was very apologetic and said she would inform the manager (who was supposedly working that day) and get back to me, and asked if I would be ok with filing an incident report (which I agreed to) and stated that the manager would be calling me back very shortly. No one called, no incident report was made. I was in extreme pain for the duration of my stay and no one cared to address it, or come to the room assess the stairs that I tripped on. This hotel was very nice, but overpriced, and for them to completely disregard my injury and complaints is unacceptable. I will never be returning to this establishment.
