We provide a 24 hour hotline phone number to all guests should any neighbor not follow our house rules and are needing assistance (any time of the night). We do not recommend the Library garage as it's a few blocks away. Instead, we recommend the parking garage right next door to our building. Those details are included in our check in details for all guests.

Hey Nichole. Terribly sorry to hear you encountered some issues during your stay. I was not made aware that the cleaner was still in the property upon your arrival. I would have been more than happy to refund your early check in fee for you for the inconvenience if I had been made aware at the time of check in. With regards to the cleanliness and towels, we truly apologize that the property was not up to our standard of cleanliness. I checked the schedule to see who the cleaner was that worked this property that day and she has since been let go for not being able to clean to our standard of clean. Our team does not use the washer and driers in the properties as our linens are all processed by a commercial laundry company. We have a note on our check out instructions for guests not to put anything in the washer/dryer at check out as the linens are processed off the premises but some guests fail to read that note. We apologize that the cleaner missed checking the machines to take out anything that was left there by the prior guests. With regards to the building, the front entry is next door to a mexican restaurant in which they have a side door that leads into the main entry area of the lobby so the smell of cooking/oil etc can lead into the building unfortunately while they are cooking during those short hours. The elevator, that is managed by the HOA, is scheduled to have an entirely new elevator installed Aug 2022 so we are excited for the upgrade on all aspects for the community! Our main cleaning gal and myself personally looked for the vertical piece of wood above the couch that you mentioned and did not see what you are referring to in this regard. We did add a curtain to the living room window (although the sleeping area of this unit is in the bedroom only) after receiving your review. With regards to the trash, we did a test trail with our guests for a few months for daily trash pick-up and found that our guests ‘didn’t want to be bothered about trash’ during their stay. They would rather take the trash out themselves. Having each guest leave 2 -6 bags full of trash (based on the occupancy of the property) at the time of check out would cause the smell of old trash, opened beer cans, food leftovers etc to linger in each of the properties and attack bugs/ants, therefore, this is not an option for our small building in order to keep it clean and sanitary for guests and owners.
