The only reason I did not rate excellent for cleanliness/maintenance was a stain on the room floor carpet but it didn’t affect my comfort. Great location to Vanderbilt Univ including walking distance to football stadium and much more.
We went to Nashville with a large group. Some stayed here at the Hampton Vanderbilt, and other stayed at nearby, more $ places. We felt that we got the biggest bang back here for sure! They all paid more, & no breakfast included, The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options, & the eating area was clean. The elevator had some floorboard damage, & there were some minor scuffs here & there, but the location and staff were great! We the we were able to leave our luggage on our departing day and explore more of Nashville until our flight. I would definitely recommend.
The hotel has seen its better days, for the price it we paid i feel that the upkeep of the place should be better. The staff were very helpful and nice and the breakfast had a lot of options.

Worse Hampton we have ever been in.. and we’ve been to many! Had a running toilet the whole 3 days+ we were there.., told front desk first day, never fixed.. never got our room cleaned and we stayed 3 nights.. unacceptable!!! The nightstand drawer wouldn’t stay closed… was a hazard getting in and out of bed…bathroom was not the cleanest…have to pay an outside company to park in the lot.. best things.. easy check in and breakfast was decent. Will never stay at that Hampton again!!
Hotel was nice, it’s a bit older but still nice. Parking is expensive to say the least, paying to park in the hotel parking lot is a bit much, non valet. The room was quiet and the bed was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We noticed black mold in our bathroom. Overall a very good stay!
Really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was always kind and helpful. The hotel was in a convenient location for exploring Nashville, and everything felt easy and hassle-free. Great value for the money—I would happily stay here again.
The staff was amazing. The price was well worth it. Could use a little updating. I will stay here again

The staff were all very friendly. However the hotel is definitely in need of a few upgrades . Two of the soap dispensers had fallen off the wall in the shower, there was some mildew along the grout lines.
I wouldn’t say the place is dirty, but it’s definitely in need of some TLC.
Pluses-convenient location and great breakfast, relatively quiet and walking distance to The Row and Hattie B’s-2 great restaurants.
Minuses-the hotel and our room especially had a musty smell and is in need of serious renovations. Carpet is threadbare and dirty. We were there 3 days and 2 nights and housekeeping never made an appearance. We were told it would be every other day but they didn’t service our room at all.
The hotel was below average. Nothing was mentioned that the pool was out of service. I even received messages on Expedia the day before and day of arrival and mentioned that the pool was available for use.
A last minute, quick trip that was very pleasant! The free breakfast was so good, the location is excellent, parking lot was plenty of space. The staff was SO kind and welcoming. We will definitely stay there again in the future.
The hotel in its self was great. The bars and restaurants in the area were fantastic. A little further away from music row but still a great location. Our room was very clean, it just had a musty smell to it that we didn’t notice when we got to our room. It was later in the evening that we noticed. All in all it was a wonderful stay.
I was very surprised with how clean this place was and the free breakfast every morning. It was a real surprise. I will absolutely be going back. Probably the nicest place you can stay on Broadway for the price. Will absolutely be going back
This hotel needs a parking garage.....free parking. Our 2 night stay cost $85 for parking. $70 for parking and another $15 for fees and taxes. Crazy! This is outrageous. The hotel and breakfast bar were great.
