As we were out of the cottage for extended periods each day it was difficult to keep the house warm during the winter conditions. The sleeping loft however was always toasty warm. An extra heater would have helped with quick heating on our return as the fire takes a long time to warm the lower area. The supplied portable heater warmed the toilet/kitchen area nicely. Despite the shower area having an open window the hot water /shower is the best we have experienced in Naseby. We did feel uncomfortable using the microwave as it is in a very unsafe location on top of the refrigerator, and Had I looked at the inclusions more closely I would have realised there was no hairdryer supplied. Hopefully this will be rectified for the next winter guests. Overall we had everything we needed for our weeklong stay. ##### Sandy and Rob G.
