I wish I could rate this higher, because the owners were quite nice. But this was not a ryokan. It was a short-term boarding house. We stayed in a ten tatami mat room, which had a low table, and a "cubicle" bathroom - a plastic encased tiny room, with a toilet and a bathtub. Similarly, it advertised an "onset" - it was a very small, musty communal bath. The place was dingy - clean enough. But for $182, ridiculous. For $60, it would have been quite fine. But not priced as a luxury inn.
