This home property is embedded within slash pines, cypress, oak, and mango. The architectural design floor plan of a veranda, courtyard provides Southern living at eccentric best! The home architectural configuration provides a South exposures for the veranda. Extra large fenced backyard , french doors, skylights throughout the home, laundry room and storage closet. This home unique Estate has two adjoining units, a 3/2 bedroom adjoining guest home, and a mother in-law suite which has been modified into a penthouse/treehouse. The apartment and treehouse can be rented separately. Feel like at home in the master bedroom, which is a secluded suite with a large private master bathroom. This home in the middle of a resort location presents everything you'll need on your vacation within true walking distance. Everything is yours within 1 mile of this home including the Ritz Carlton. Steps to a scenic walk and jogging path that takes you around the beautiful Vanderbilt/ Gulfshore Drive areas and directly to the beach. The Floridian charm of this home along with its updates, quiet fenced back yard, large yard and location make for a truly relaxing, fun and enjoyable vacation in Naples. For more than than 25 years, Dr. Stephen Leatherman ("Dr. Beach") has reviewed, evaluated and rated beaches and coastal areas throughout the world. Two of his selected beaches for 2015 are within a mile from the house, Delnor-Wiggins (ranked #9 )and Barefoot Beach (ranked #2). The house is in a perfect spot, a quiet residential area within close distance of Vanderbilt and Barefoot and Delnor Wiggins beaches. Pleasant area for morning walks and having a relaxing beverage at the end of the day. Kitchen facilities were pretty good, with a convection stovetop (which we never used) and a big refrigerator. And Joseph was a gracious host. Would definitely stay again. ##### Paul M. Renters should be aware that the pictures, narrative and list of amenities are misleading. Gulf Breeze is made up of several different units and some of the salient features listed did not actually pertain to our unit. The unit is listed as including a king bed, twin beds and a bathroom and a half. This was not the case. The two bedroom unit that we rented included a king bedroom and a second bedroom with a pull down murphy bed (not comfortable for a two week stay). Instead of a bathroom and a half both bedrooms had access doors to the same full bathroom. In the pictures the unit's kitchen/dining area is shown to be adjacent to a living room area. However, the living room area depicted was closed off in our unit and our living area consisted of only a love seat located 4 feet from the kitchen sink! Amenities included an oven, there was no oven! A grill was shown in the pictures but it is a shared grill between three units and although we were offered it's use it looked as if it had not been cleaned in a long time. Having the fenced in yard was nice and the outdoor patio was pleasant but not kept in tidy condition. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. We discussed these discrepancies with Joseph Bormann's, the host and he seemed to understand why we could have expected something different. He offered us a bottle of wine or champagne to ease our disappointment but could not change our rental arrangement. ##### Barbara B. The furniture is eclectic and well used- it is dog friendly. All the appliances work well. The wifi was off for a few days, but we survived. The grills outside did not work, and the bikes on the front porch are broken. We had a pool table in the front room that was nice, also there is a slot machine and pacman game that one needs quarters and nickels to play.
