The Oxbow House - Designer 3BD/2BA Home

Summary:
Welcome to The Oxbow House, managed by Vineskipper Properties! This painstakingly remodeled home is ideally located within walking distance of downtown Napa, while also offering easy access to all the wineries of the Napa Valley. This historic 1930’s home offers 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 designer-appointed bathrooms with a top-of-the-line kitchen and wonderful outdoor patio. If desired, we can share our deep industry knowledge to help plan your perfect vacation!

The Space:
The house underwent a complete remodel in 2019 and has been appointed with designer finishes and top-of-the-line appliances and kitchenware including All Clad cookware, Keurig coffee machine, high end teas and Riedel wine glasses. All new furnishings, luxury beds and top-of-the-line linens will ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Guest Access:
You will have access to the whole house, backyard and side patio. There is plenty of on-site parking in the driveway.

The Neighborhood:
Located just east of downtown in Napa's Alta Heights neighborhood, The Oxbow House is the perfect launching pad for your wine country adventures! It is only a 5 minute walk to the famous Oxbow Market and just a couple minutes further over the bridge into downtown. The house is also conveniently located near the Silverado Trail so you have easy access to Yountville and St. Helena and all the wineries up-valley.

Other Things to Note:
This is a fully-licensed vacation rental, approved and permitted by the City of Napa (VR19-0026).

Pets are permitted on the premises provided that the pet is declared by the Guest and applicable pet fees are paid in advance. The pet fee is $30/day. Pets must be attended to at all times, must have current vaccinations, and cannot be left in the home without supervision. Undeclared pets are a violation of the House Rules and will result in eviction and forfeiture of full payment.

Interaction with Guests:
We have been in the hospitality industry in the Napa Valley for the past 10 years and know all the best kept secrets, top restaurants and under-the-radar wineries. We are happy to provide you recommendations for the best activities in the Napa Valley and we may even be able to use our deep industry contacts and knowledge to get you a reservation that’s not available online. However, we want you to have the perfect stay so we will only be as involved as you would like - if you want to enjoy your time with friends and family in peace we will just provide you with the self check-in instructions and leave you to it!

Oxbow House is a great Napa option

The house is older but has been nicely updated. Fantastic location-- short walks to downtown Napa and the Oxbow Market. Just off Silverado Trail so very easy to head up the valley for wine tasting. Perfect for 2 couples (and possibly a couple kids). Bathroom capacity would be a little stretched for 3 couples. Very comfortable house with space to spread out (some hours working remotely). Nicely furnished with plenty of supplies. We're very highly likely to rent it again in the future.

Amazing stay at The Oxbow House

Loved everything about our stay here. The house is super spacious with lots of outdoor space. The kitchen has everything you could need and supplies are plentiful! We grilled in one night and everything was very easy to use. The beds are more comfortable than our beds at home. The location is amazing. It is a very easy walk into town and super close to Oxbow Market and the famous Model bakery! I highly recommend this property!

Perfect Place!

Walking distance to town, comfortable beds, super clean, great bathrooms, updated, well spaced house! Great cozy outdoor areas too. Service charges were higher than expected, but ended up being well worth it! Super responsive and friendly management. I have high standards and this place did not disappoint. Would highly recommend.

Quiet yet close to town

We were very pleased with the property It was close enough to walk to all that downtown Napa has to offer yet the kitchen and outdoor space were inviting enough to encourage us cooking at the house. Minor issues were immediately addressed and a mid-stay cleaning was much appreciated

Wonderful house, professional/exceptional host

We stayed for 8 days/7 nights. The location is perfect for a NAPA getaway. The house is charming, with modern amenities and great spaces for outside living. There were 5 adults and we had no problem with space. The host was professional and friendly and provided some great recommendations of which we took advantage. We had a great time. I fully recommend staying at this property.

Great place for a Napa vacation!

We rented this for our family trip to Napa. With two couples and a child it was a perfect layout. The house was comfortable, clean, and in an excellent location. Management is organized, proactive, and responsive — they also leave you alone to enjoy your trip. Loved having the outdoor games! We will definitely stay again in the future!

Best house in Napa!

This house was perfect for our vacation! Conveniently located just a short walking distance to Oxbow Market, the house was fully appointed with everything we needed. Beds/bedding is VERY comfortable, back yard was perfect for relaxing and sipping on wine, and it worked very well for our group. Couldn’t recommend enough and can’t wait to come back! Amazing!

This property was stunning, superbly decorated and incredibly clean. It’s close to downtown Napa and only a few minutes away from restaurants and nightlife. My husband had a great time here and felt very safe! I would love to come back in the spring or summer to take advantage of the cute outdoor areas and upstairs balcony (as it was pretty cold during our stay). We absolutely loved it!

Charming luxury property

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights in December. The property was very clean, well equipped and perfectly charming. The beds were very cozy and the linens were very good quality. We brought our 13 year old yellow lab, he also found it very comfortable. For pet owners with older dogs, this is a two story home and the stairs are a little steep but they are carpeted. Our pup never ventured upstairs. We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back again!

Fantastic stay!

Oxbow House worked out perfectly for a group of 5 women on a trip to wine country! The property was just as beautiful as the pictures and very well equipped. Beds were incredibly comfortable - best sheets I’ve ever had in a VRBO without a doubt. We had a little trouble with the lights and D.J. was very responsive and got them fixed right away. The side yard was perfect for sitting and talking with a glass of wine on a gorgeous day. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip.
