I think this was our fourth stay at 76 Main on Nantucket and we continue to love it! The Inn is super charming, cozy and quiet. The location to downtown cannot be more perfect - just steps! We will continue to come back!

We enjoyed our stay on Nantucket. We loved the location, the rooms were clean and we used beach towels and their bikes. Our room was very small but worked for a weekend.

This was wonderfully located hotel and room was larger than I had anticipated. The backyard fireplace was quite the plus. I did expect a personal touch upon check in however. The various hours were recited sweetly but not totally digestible and a little impersonal As we were older and looking for a way to carry bags I believe when I asked the driveway would have been better approach than the steps up. We did ask for suggestions regarding bike rides and the beach and basically were told no not a good idea. We ended up using a bus which worked fine but no schedules or location to get it were offered. Would have felt nice to feel like there was info available rather than the sense we knew as much as the host We needed help to light our fire and the host was unaware we even had one An art happy hour and promo took over the patio.for the evening which is fine but either notice of such and what to expect or possibly an invite if possible? It was right outside our room and obvious. Lastly we looked forward to trying the cocktail happy hour suggested but no recipes or suggestions were available. There were cocktail tooth picks and a nice bar set but no accoutrements to use, seemed more like free sodas or tonics and I have to say where to get ice when kitchen right there was inconvenient. Maybe cocktail hour could have ice available too I’m being unusually detailed only because the price was significant and some personal human interaction would have gone a long way

The hotel is a block from downtown in a quiet area. Everything is walkable from there and the free buses are a few blocks away. We will stay there next time since it is so convenient with a wonderful staff. We visited friends, but did not want to stay at their house. This was in the middle of everything.

I was not a fan of the water in the room situation. Reusing a water bottle was not great. I am sure it was clean, but the idea gave me pause. I went and bought water. But did like the coffee in the room. Need tv instructions. Need better breakfast options Staff friendly and helpful. Great location.

I never post reviews on places I stay, but this deserves some attention. It was my error to book with Expedia instead of booking with the inn directly. I also did not realize that I could make specific requests for my stay. So for that I take responsibility. What I don't take responsibility for is the check-in. I felt as if I the guest wasn't truly important enough to engage with. Not a friendly smile or hello.. It was name and here are your keys.. The back patio was a mess from the trees which found themselves in every corner and crevice. Understandable, but please don't tell me it had been cleaned 4 times that day or any other day. Never really recovered throughout the stay. Breakfast was lack luster.. and the in room coffee milk was spoiled. If you are an early riser like me, 8 am really does not work. I learned my lesson the first morning when the back door was lock. I asked if I could set up in cafe room with a laptop and was denied. and then the door locked behind me.. really!! It's off season and that is what makes Nantucket great. The location to downtown is good. The parking is hit or miss. Probably not going to book the fall with this inn. There are many other good places to stay.

This hotel was absolutely lovely: clean, the staff was friendly, and the amenities were great. The continental breakfast was one of the better that we have seen in some time. Richard was extremely helpful.

While the prices were very high for the winter stroll the hotel was cute. I found that our room - which was one outside in a courtyard had very thin walls. Could hear the whole conversation of next door guests. The door was clearly somewhat broken because it was very hard to close and lock- the amenities in the bathroom has been there forever you could tell because the shampoo came out in globes from the cold or storage form got to cold. It’s obviously very central to Main Street which was a plus and the breakfast was nice in them, although the coffee bar could have been better and been available the whole time- would be nice to get tea at night or during the day. I felt like the price for the weekend was pretty outrageous for the quality of the hotel- linens, towels, space in room etc. The bathroom also pretty snug.
