The coral around the island is especially colourful and can see incredible fish at different times. It's definitely the most alive coral reefs we've ever seen in Fiji. We also went on a manta ray trip, and although we weren't lucky enough to see rays - we had an amazing experience. The ladder on the boat might need to be replaced soon though! The rooms are a perfect size, the outdoor shower is divine and the rooms have a small fridge too. Every staff member we met made us feel like part of the family and we spent so much time chatting with staff and other guests. We were one of 5 or 7 people on the resort during our stay and it never felt too busy. We can't wait to return! Thank you Liddi, Paul, Elinoa, Male, Saku, Jay, Ami, Api, Venni, Rusi, John and all the wonderful staff that make Mai sunset the best destination in the Yasawa islands. "

"We absolutely loved our time with Bill and Paula at the homestay. It was such an awesome experience for our family. We were welcomed immediately into the village and we throughly enjoyed village life. Our boys played with the local children and everyone was super friendly. The snorkelling around the island was incredible and the snorkelling with the sharks experience and drift snorkelling in the Manta passage was amazing. Paula's cooking was next level and she ensured we were never hungry, there was plenty of fresh local food prepared for us. Bill shared lots of local information and knowledge around the islands. He communication was great and very helpful. We would have very happily stayed longer than 4 nights that we had. This is an experience that we will hold very fondly for years to come! "

"VOMO Island is an incredible resort which is wonderful in every way. It is beautiful to look at with white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and amazing snorkeling. It also has world class dining options and warm customer service (although sometimes things happen on island time). The kids club and nannies are also fabulous with great activities.
