« Traveling with 3 adults, 3 kids 1-13 and 2 dogs and we all fit. Cottage was very clean, air conditioner worked wonderfully and communication with the host was prompt. The kids loved the fishing, kayaks and paddle boats. The neighbors were great and very friendly. I highly recommend Van Cleve park and Gladstone beach if your traveling with kids. « Beautiful accommodations, clean, fully equipped, Larry and Kathy thought of everything. Peaceful, relaxing and quiet, fantastic scenery. Dogs enjoyed swimming in the lake. « Brought niece and her 2 teens to visit family in Gladstone. 12 yo nephew LOVED fishing!! Everyone went out in kayaks, paddleboat, and played yard games. Exceptionally clean and stocked with what we needed. Reached out to owners for a couple questions and they replied immediately. Definitely recommend this place. »

« My family stayed 4 nights at this cabin on Gooseneck lake. There are so many things we loved about staying here - the sandy beach, the kayaks, the toys (both inside and outside), the outdoor bar, the fire pit, the bounce house (!), and the dock. It's a very peaceful vacation spot. It was also very very clean (especially for a cabin with a sandy beach). The sandy beach is very nice but once your are in the water, it is 6 inches of muck. The kind of muck that swallows a croc and takes 20 minutes...

« Excellent vacation rental. Well stocked for all your needs (cooking to entertainment). Short drive to sand beaches and boat launch. Water at rental was rocky, need to wear water shoes which are provided. Kayaks and paddle board were also a great addition to the rental property.Amy was an excellent host, checking on us making sure we are having a great vacation.If you are looking for a northern Michigan bay summer vacation, I recommend. »
