Comfort and convenience! 3 bedroom Nags Head cottage, short walk to the beach!

  • Sam & Connie's is the perfect Nags Head cottage for your next family vacation. This classic "beach box" has modern and comfortable furnishings and decor and is just a short stroll from the Barnes Street beach access. Ample outdoor living space from the sun deck on the front of the house to the ground level hangout area. The primary bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and en suite half bathroom.
    The nautical themed kids room is just across the hall from the full bathroom with tub and is furnished with a duo bunk (double bed on the bottom and twin on top). At the end of the hall find the third bedroom with a queen size bed. Don't forget fido! Sam & Connie's is pet friendly so your dog is welcome to join the fun in Nags Head. Walking distance to Dowdy Park and the seasonal Dowdy Park Farmer's Market, multiple popular local restaurants and shops, and just a couple of blocks from the grocery store!

Great location! Lots of space!

We had a great time working remotely for a week. Close to bars and restaurants and the beach is an easy walk. Great outdoor space on a quiet street.

I did not bring a pet, but I noticed dog bowls under the sink. That was nice for pet owners. The property was as listed, and I had no complaints. The only thing missing was on me--I did not notice that there was no dishwasher. Interestingly enough, it did not become a big deal at all.It was clean and quiet.My bed (master) was comfortable. Kitchen: I would suggest a knife sharpening event. I brought my own because most places do not have sharp knives, and this was no exception.I would recommend this place for families, singles, or couples.Great time, and it was very central. I will rent this again if available.

The beds were fairly comfortable and outdoor furniture is nice. The porch is nice and shady. The walking location was perfect. This type of house is typical for us, so I did not have any specific hopes outside of the look and feel of the photos, but was a little disappointed in the cleanliness and comfort.Cleanliness and upon arrival and condition overall through the whole house was not as expected. There was a very strong chemical smell for the first few days. Mattress covers had food etc under the covers which themselves were not clean. Pillows are stained, some even with mold/ mildew. Full shower was not clean. Outdoor shower pools water because of piles of pine needles and overgrown grass and was filled with spiderwebs. Washer did not work the entire stay- rental company offered a refund for a portion which is appreciated but it added additional work to manage this inconvenience regardless. I appreciated the opportunity to stay in this location and I think with a little extra care this house would be a lot more comfortable for a family to rent.
