The host was very easy to communicate with. The apartment was beautiful, clean, spacious and stunning views. Maybe some tea/coffee sachets would be nice as complimentary. Top location to start the Nakasendo trail from as transport was excellent in proximity to the property.

Start of Nakasendo hike
We started our hiking journey from Nagiso to Nakatsugawa. Beautiful short hikes around town and nice views. Get you dinner at 7-eleven, seriously!

The view is exceptional and the tatami room is beautiful. There is a beautiful little restaurant a few doors up called ‘Piero’ with lovely hosts. Staying here was one of the highlights of our time in Japan.
