It was a nice place & close to grocery store & restaurants. It was a little outdated but the view was wonderful! They said there was an indoor restaurant, but it was closed. The tub didn't drain very well.

Does not look like the pictures at all. Room smelled like must and deodorizer. “Ocean view” was a small crack between condos that you could see a sliver of the ocean. Staff’s comments were “that’s how they get you” when I commented that it wasn’t an ocean view.

We loved this resort. Such a cute 1 bedroom suite, they even had a comfy couch and a rocker recliner which my granddaughter loved! And the view from our balcony was amazing!! Everyone that worked there were very friendly and helpful can’t wait to go back!! This will be our number 1 resort from now on! Thanks Carolina Winds!!

We go every year for a few days, the staff is very accommodating. The rooms are clean and very nicely decorated, not the usual hotel feeling, there rooms have a much more at home feeling. An array of shopping and dinner are within just few min from the property. Can't wait for our next trip!!

This property was amazing!!! I didn’t expect a condo and all the pools. 2 different hot tubs. It was heaven. Right in the beach. Could watch the sunrise and the moonrise!!! It was beautiful. I will be coming back every year!!!!

Nice space and location. Cleaning left a lot to be desired. Upon arrival, the bed linens were dirty. I was grateful there was a washer/dryer in the unit. A couple hours and some cleaning supplies. Moved on with my trip and put the "do not disturb" for the rest of the week. No point in having people com into your room if they aren't going to clean it!

The Ammenities and property were great, it’s in a prime location right next to the beach with nice pools and hot tubs. Only complaint is the cleanliness and smell of the room. The room had a musty smell, the plumbing sucked, and the toilet, floors and fridge all needed to be re cleaned when we got there. We found outside insects in our room. If you’re staying here, recommend keeping your shoes on and not walking around barefoot.

over all facilities was good! I HATED THE condo we stayed in. Funiture was VERY outdated and in poor condition. the owners must improve the quality of decor, Funiture, curtains were stained and tacked poorly to the windows, the chairs in the dining area were OLD and unstable, Livingroom seating needs updating or at least cleaned. room 604 is not ready to rent in my opinion

Great value for a short oceanfront beach stay!
We had a good 3 night stay that met our expectations. We knew from the reviews that the property was dated. Our unit was 8th floor. We had a view of ocean and pool. Elevators wirked great! Front desk was always helpful especially with our patio door which was jammed. The evening maintenance man was friendly and fixed it in short order. The pool is amazing and huge. We had stayed in this neighborhood many times during the 90's so knew the area. We would return fir the value.

Pros: - Staff is very friendly, couteous, and helpful. When they drain in our tub shower wasnt going down, they were happy to help and prompt to fix it. - Very close to the beach and easy access. - The Beach Pit restaurant in the hotel had delicious burgers and bar food. - Kid and family friendly Cons: - Everything is pretty outdated the rooms: AC units, bathroom fan, lighting, leaking shower head. - Everything in the rooms could use a deep cleaning

I have stayed at Carolina Winds multiple times throughout the years and I will always come back😊 I love how close and easy it is to get to the beach! On pool days their pool is amazing! Our room was NOT clean. There were bodily hairs all over the bathroom when we got there. Trash on the floor beside the beds. Trash under the beds. The dishes looked like they’d never been cleaned. The rest of the building was clean, our room was just not.

The sofa cushions were worn out and very uncomfortable. I felt like I was almost sitting on the floor.The carpet was dirty and needed a good shampooing. The cloth chair arms were very dirty. We had 2 queen beds. One was comfortable but the other one, you tended to roll to the center and the bed was squeaky when you rolled over. The view was good, staff was pleasant and very nice pools and hot tubs. Location was good. Facility was clean.

Carolina Winds stay
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay for the weekend. We were in Myrtle Beach for a dance competition. The room was great except the tv in the living room area did not work, there was no hot pads to take stuff out of the oven. Other than that, we had a great ocean view from our balcony and felt like we were at home. Will definately stay again.

The room we stayed in was more like a small condo rather then a hotel room. Vey nice and had all the things needed for a great stay. Excellent view of the beach from the 10th floor room. Very clean and well laid out.
