"Sylvette and Alan have a lovely house and we were so happy to stay there! The pool, with its view across the hills, is immaculate and has all the things you need to enjoy yourself (pool noodles, shades, loungers etc). The house is comfortable and well equipped, the kitchen had every tool we needed and the dishwasher and washing machine worked great. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely style and the whole house is air-conditioned throughout, we were even almost cold at times! So in the summer it was a real pleasure. The enclosed garden is big and well maintained with beautiful flowers and fruit trees and there is a walk immediately from the garden through a wildflower meadow and into the forest if you have a dog or just like walking. Sylvette and Alan were very gracious and kind hosts who helped us with all our needs and provided a lovely atmosphere. It was a pleasure and we would be delighted to stay again! 10/10"

"Stayed for a week in July with the family of 5 adults and 3 children aged 6 to 60 and 2 dogs.Everything was wonderful. The gardens are much, much bigger than it looks on the photos which was perfect for the dogs and games of hide and seek. I even saw a deer in the far part of the garden on the first day. You can walk through the gardens, jump a little stream and be at the playing fields in a few minutes, then carry on into the village avoiding much of the main road. The village has everything you need in walking distance : bakery, shop, café, restaurants, post office, castle ruins to visit. But the house is far enough away to have complete tranquility. It's really a rare find to feel so in the country while having everything you need a short walk away.The pool is amazing. Just the right size for us and fully gated. It's cleaned daily.The house is large and had everything we needed for the week. There are plenty of books and games to keep the children entertained. There was even English tv.The hosts are adorable. On hand for anything you need but very discrete despite living next door.The Dordogne is a lovely area and there is much to visit within a 30 minute drive : castles, boat rides, small villages, grottes, marketdms, prehistoric village. Too much for just a week.Thank you, we will be back!"

"De eigenaren zijn 2 super lieve mensen, en de ontvangst was warm. Huis is in Franse stijl van buiten en van binnen netjes gestuukt met Franse meubels. De keuken is zeer ruim, van alle gemakken voorzien, de living is groot. Slaapkamers zijn netjes van formaat, alleen de 2 persoonsbedden zijn heel erg klein en weinig comfortabel. De douches zijn netjes, je kan alleen niet in beide badkamers tegelijk douchen, want dat kan de waterdruk niet aan. Het zwembad is fijn en netjes onderhouden. Het uitzicht is onbetaalbaar. Kortom een zeer aangenaam verblijf en zeker een aanrader."

"Un logement conforme à l’annonce, très bien équipé. Literies confortables .Un accueil formidable, Mr Pernot du Breuil est un hôte disponible et aux petits soins.Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, au calme mais à distance raisonnable des sites touristiques. La piscine est top! Un conseil si vous voulez garder la fraîcheur naturelle de la maison : il faut s’astreindre à fermer les portes la journée!! Mais ça marche aussi bien qu’une Clim."

"Wir waren zu viert in den Pfingstferien dort.Paul ist ein toller Gastgeber, unaufdringlich und sehr freundlich!Das Haus ist sehr schön, man merkt die Mühe die drin steckt.Selbst bei 35 Grad, war es drinnen noch angenehm kühl.Es ist alles da was man für ein paar ruhige und stressfreie Tage benötigt.Von der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche, bis zum Whirlpool ist alles da. Die Kinder haben den Pool genossen. Das E Auto konnte vor Ort geladen werden und man ist absolut ungestört.Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!!Gruß und Danke @Paul :)"
