This 3,000-square-foot open floor plan home features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Six TVs (cable), DVD player, telephone, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include two king, two queen, and two twin-sized beds, plus two queen-sized sofa beds. Two bedrooms are located downstairs; bedroom one has one king-sized bed, bedroom two features one queen and one twin-sized bed, and the living room includes one queen-sized sofa bed. Three bedrooms are located upstairs; bedroom three has one king-sized bed, bedroom four features one queen and one twin-sized bed, and bedroom five (open loft) includes one queen-sized sofa bed. Two bathrooms are located downstairs and two are upstairs. Outdoor features include a private 14-by-24-foot swimming pool (3-to-5-foot deep) with kiddie pool, ocean side sundeck, partially covered and furnished front porch, enclosed shower, and ample parking (some covered). No outdoor charging outlet available for electric golf cart - gas cart recommended for interested guests. No pets. No smoking. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner. Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo. If you're looking for places to shop, The Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for entertainment and attractions? Take in a show at Pirates Voyage, Medieval Times, Alabama Theater, The Carolina Opry, or Legends in Concert. Then visit SkyWheel Myrtle Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditorium, Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, and The Pavilion Nostalgia Park. Other points of interest close by include the waterfront community of Georgetown, the third oldest city in South Carolina and the second largest seaport in South Carolina, and historic Conway, with its downtown Riverwalk area nestled on the banks of the Waccamaw River. Both towns include fine dining, shopping, and historic sites. Take a day trip to Charleston to experience shopping, a harbor cruise, a city carriage tour, or a plantation tour. Charleston is only 87 miles from Garden City Beach - approximately two hours. The pool was very nice, clean, and very warm. The house is located in a fun location and VERY close to the beach, however, it is on a loud/busy street street (cars playing loud music till 11 pm or later & lots of fireworks). The house was not very clean (bathrooms were full of hair on the floor/ inside bathroom drawers were dirty) also we found lots of sand in places that made it feel like it hasn't been cleaned throughly in a long time. ##### Mary H.
