Heating is only effective when temperatures—day or night—are forecasted to be above 60°F, so we recommend checking the forecast closer to your stay (but at least 5 days prior) before adding heat. PRIVATE SPA This is an open-air spa, not an enclosed hot tub. Heating is available year round for an additional $350 + tax per week. However, the house had some problems with housekeeping at check in. One bedroom in the lower lever had several dead bugs on the floor. One bathroom had fecal material on the underside of the toilet seat.On check in, my daughter-in-law sat on the side of the bed, and it collapsed. She had to sleep in the room with her adult daughter. Bask Away was very helpful and had it fixed the next day. the man replacing the bed said that housekeeping should have noticed the break. also, the front stairs are very step and has no railing. At 87 years old, I was not comfortable using them and had to use the outside stairs. and the lock on the backdoor is broken.
