### Log cabin near Blue Ridge & Murphy, fast wifi 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 friendly 🛏️ 6 -🐶 & hot tub!

Welcome to our Happy Hytte in the North Carolina mountains! In Norway, where we have family, cabins are called hyttes (pronounced like hit-uh). We named our cabin to reflect both our heritage & the cozy cabin vibes for which the folks in Norway are known. Ideally situated in the southwestern corner of the state, to our south we are a stones throw from the areas of Blairsville & Blue Ridge, Georgia. To the west we are a short drive to Tennessee & the Cherokee National Forrest. Your activities itinerary can be as full as you can handle!  
  
We know that you want your trip to the mountains to be all about outdoor living, and we’ve got just the porch you’ve been searching for. Rock the day away on the front porch, relax on the side porch in the swing with a book, grill up dinner and eat inside or out, and then finish off the night around the campfire in our locally made Adirondack chairs or a soak in the hot tub. Our cabin is secluded without being isolated. You will lose cell coverage but our high speed internet will keep you connected! We have a lovely view of our community pond (where you can watch the deer come by for a drink as the sun sets), and a whole acre for the kids to run around. We even have a hiking trail that begins just at the end of our drive.  
  
Couples and friends are welcome, of course! But, we are set up for the needs of families like ours, just in case. After years of traveling to the mountains with kids we know what families need! Our primary suite is just right, with a Casper mattress in a proper queen size bed and your own en suite bath. The kids have run of the bunk room with two bunks (four twin beds!) that we’ve decorated to make them feel adventurous and a hall bath they can share. We’ve even brought a pack n play in case you’ve got a really little one. The deck has gates at both ends so that your kids or your pups can have the run of the deck without being able to run off entirely. We have our own porch dawg, and are happy to welcome yours without charging a pet fee.  
  
The kitchen is fully stocked, and not from 32 different yard sales! Cook, bake, or heat up leftovers from the pizzeria down the road (it’s pretty legit!) The road to the hytte is nicely paved, no gravel until you get to the driveway and no crazy hills to slide down while you try and find us in the dark. We even put up twinkle lights on the porch so you’ll know you’ve made it! Velkommen hjem!

Loved our stay! This cabin has everything needed for a getaway in the mountains. The hosts have set it up to feel like a home away from home. Everything is comfortable and clean. They even decorated for Christmas! The bunk room has books and toys for kids. The deck is spacious and safe for littles with gates by the stairs. The host was also quick to respond to anything we needed. I would highly recommend this stay!

We felt at home here. They had everything you could need and more for your stay. The cabin was immaculate upon arrival. Its very spacious and comfortable. We hated to leave and would have extended our stay if we could. We will definitely stay again when we return in the spring. The property has everything you need for a relaxing vacation in the mountains. Beautiful property and responsive owner. Highly recommend. We selected this location after signing up for Rolling Thunder whitewater rafting. Our dogs loved it too. Very clean - inside and out.

#### Lovely week in the mountains

I went with my husband, toddler (two-year-old), and our elderly dog. The gated porch was a big deal because it meant we could all hang out with no fears of anyone running away. I also loved the long (very slight grade) gravel driveway because when my kiddo wanted to go on a spontaneous walk, we would just walk up that way and there was no traffic on that section. There are also about a billion different kids' toys which were super helpful to have available! Lots more stuff stocked in the kitchen than I'm used to--they already had coffee and seasonings and whatnot. They had a pancake griddle which was great and even some storage bowls we were able to take along to hold lunches on the go.The house itself is very cute. Well decorated, nice hot tub, loved the rocking chairs and porch swing. There's a lovely pond right there too, and we saw six or seven deer one night. The neighborhood trail was very steep in sections so be prepared! This house was close to a bunch of hiking and good proximity to a local grocery store so you can stock up. We had a lovely time and will hopefully be coming back here soon!

#### Awesome mountain stay!

Everything was just as described. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. So comfortable and pet friendly but you would never know it because it was so clean and well taken care of. I spent so much time sitting on the deck and or relaxing in the awesome and also spotless hot tub. We walked multiple times on the nature trail inside the neighborhood and saw a lot of deer and other wild life. I am really looking forward to coming back.

Close to Blue Ridge mountains in the middle of everything Blairsville.So much to do in the area hiking tubing barbecue is good in the area and the cabin itself. The little outside little pond. My kids had so much up fun fishing and the the hiking trail that was.There was amazing as well

I booked this cabin for my daughter’s 16th birthday for her and a couple friends. We all had a blast. Beds were comfortable, cabin has everything you need and is beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and we enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was so clean and cozy, and the communication couldn't have been better. The kids (8, 10, and 11) LOVED the water. We caught some little fish and had a blast listening to the frogs and trying to find them. The outdoor games were a ton of fun too. Thanks for a great weekend away! We loved staying at this cabin! It’s so cozy, all the beds are super comfortable we slept like babies. The hot tub was wonderful. It’s so much cuter in person. I would highly recommend staying here. It was the perfect size for our family of six. Absolutely perfect!

I would like to thank the host for providing all the information needed from day one. The cabin is beautiful and looks like new. Everything you think you might need, it is there. My kids love the games and the setting in general. The cabin is close to main road that goes to Murphy and also to the border with Tennessee. Amazing memories we lived as a family. #### Home away from home

If you left home and forgot anything, you wouldn't have to look far in this cabin to find it probably. My house isn't even that well stocked in spices, there are extra toothbrushes/paste just in case, makeup wipes and separate towels.. everything. All the good movies.. everything you might need while you're there is there. We had a perfect peaceful and lazy weekend. There was a wine bottle and glasses waiting for us and a different book on each of the bunk beds. We had our 4 year old with us and chose different bunk beds, and we slept in the kid's room while we were visiting. It really was perfect. Thank you for the wonderful little place to get away for the weekend!
