Top Murazzo Hotel Reviews

Felicin - Palazzo Boeri Panoramic Suites

Felicin - Palazzo Boeri Panoramic Suites

8/10 Good
"The property is in a beautiful natural balcony overlooking the mountains and the valleys.absolutely stunning.! Having a glass of wine at sunset was a real experience. The room was very large. With 2 bathrooms. The staff was awesome. Unfortunately the room was also dirty. Lots of stink bugs flying around, spider webs and showers that were built a while ago with water damage showing. We loved the property. But the rooms need a deep cleaning."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Murazzo?
The best area to stay in Murazzo is the historic centre, particularly around Piazza Umberto I and the surrounding streets.

This area is the heart of Murazzo, characterised by its historic buildings, narrow cobbled lanes, and a relaxed, authentic Italian atmosphere. Piazza Umberto I is a central square where you'll find the Town Hall and several local cafes, making it a natural gathering point. The streets radiating from the piazza, such as Via Roma and Via Cavour, are home to many of the town's traditional shops and eateries.

For couples seeking a romantic and peaceful getaway, the historic centre is ideal. You'll be within walking distance of Murazzo's main attractions, including the ancient church of San Giovanni Battista and the scenic viewpoints overlooking the surrounding countryside. Evenings can be spent enjoying leisurely dinners at local trattorias or taking a stroll through the quiet streets.

Families will also find the historic centre a practical choice. The pedestrian-friendly nature of many streets means children can explore safely, and there are often small parks or open spaces nearby for them to enjoy.
When is the best time to go to Murazzo?
The best time to visit Murazzo is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

Spring in Murazzo brings pleasant temperatures, ideal for exploring the rolling hills and vineyards. The countryside is lush and green, and the grapevines are just starting to bud, offering a lovely backdrop for scenic walks or cycling tours. It's also a great time to enjoy outdoor dining at the local trattorias before the peak summer heat.

Autumn is another excellent period, particularly for those interested in the region's renowned culinary scene. This is harvest season, meaning you'll find an abundance of fresh produce, truffles, and, of course, new wine vintages. The landscapes are painted with beautiful autumnal colours, making it a picturesque time for photography and leisurely drives through the wine country.
