Communication before arrival was prompt and Taiko even dropped any plans to pick me up at the local station saving me money on further transport. Over the 2 week period i stayed here this family made sure i was fed and clothes were cleaned, inviting friends and family around for both food and Karaoke has been hospitality i never knew was possible. The garden is beautiful and the private onsen was excellent. Probably easiest to visit by car (plentiful space in their off site parking lot); the train option would be cumbersome. Beautiful rose garden associated with the shrine up the hill; in full bloom at the end of June. Small restaurants nearby."
