Incredible Experience
This is the storybook "cabin in the woods" and we're so grateful to have experienced this charming and peaceful property. We celebrated my wife's birthday and despite the snowy weather and super fun bumpy road, Hillary was amazing to work with and made our stay feel like home... only a little more relaxing. :)

An Amazing Experience!
Wow! This was more than I could have ever hoped for! The cabin itself is beautiful and comes equipped with everything you need to enjoy this home away from home. The fireplace was cozy and the kitchen was perfect for our cooking needs. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the DVD and game selection that were available when we weren’t in the hot tub or outside enjoying the calm winter stillness. Most of our time was spent in the hot tub under the gazebo watching the snow fall all around us. The property was quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed walking through the woods that were just outside our back door. I can’t wait to stay here again!

Winter midweek stay
My wife and I stayed here for her birthday. While there were a couple houses/cabins within sight we did not hear a single person the three days we were there. The cabin and hot tub were clean and everything worked great. We already planning a return stay for my upcoming milestone birthday next winter. One consideration is that we visited in February and it was quite muddy. It was a solid 15-20 minutes from M-94 to the cabin. We had a truck with 4-wheel drive and would probably recommend that visitors consider having AWD or 4WD in winter months.

Winter getaway
This cabin is so beautiful. The snow that fell while we were there covered the trees and made it look like a winter wonderland. Cabin was gorgeous and cozy and the hot tub looking out over the snow was amazing! Will definitely be back.

Anniversary Trip
We wanted a cabin in the woods and thats exactly what we got! The directions provided by the host got us there with ease, we really enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. The furniture had a lot of wear and tear, but the beds were very comfortable...which is fine when you're not planning to spend the whole trip inside. We did some sightseeing up by lake Superior, went down to kitch-iti-kipi, Fayette Historic State Park and saw a movie in Manistique. Navigated our way back to the cabin with no troubles at all, ultimately had a great trip and would definitely like to come back when the fall colors are peaking next year.

Pictured Rocks Get Away
This property is a very clean and charming cabin. The kitchen has everything you need, and the beds are very comfortable.You’ll want to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and soap for the shower. Make sure you get good directions before you head into the woods. Since our GPS didn’t work, I was so glad we had a county road map book with us. I would recommend a floor lamp near the dining table for better lighting; it was a little dark when playing games in the evening.

We and our 2 dogs had a great stay. The house is as nice as it looks in the photos and we had great fun noticing all the fun details of the house. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and peacefulness of the beautiful location. We would gladly stay again.

Cute, Cozy Cabin
We had a wonderful weekend stay (3 adults and 2 dogs). The cabin was as described--clean, cozy, secluded. Our dogs enjoyed the large yard. We enjoyed the cute cabin decor. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great (especially after running the Grand Island marathon). One (minor) suggestion would be to have some brighter overhead lights. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome UP Cabin
This is the cleanest VRBO I have ever stayed in. It is stocked with everything and is super cute. The hot tub is spacious and taken care of. My only suggestion is to print out directions before you go that take you in from Munising. Our GPS stopped tracking about 5 miles out and this cabin is not the easiest to find.

Clean cabin with super soft sheets! There was a great variety of kitchen supplies making home cooked meals easy! The yard is flat and easy for kids to play. Well maintained dirt/ gravel road to the cabin. Easy to communicate with host before and during stay.

Exactly as pictured - beautiful inside and out. Comfy furniture and modern kitchen. Hot tub was excellent as well, but beware of the mosquitoes. There are neighbors nearby, but you don’t see them. Make sure you use the directions given because your gps won’t take you to the right place. You will lose your cell signal before you get there so make sure you know where you are going. GPS doesn’t show the roads you go on. We loved it here and recommend to anyone visiting the area, especially if you like peace and quiet, seclusion, and a beautiful home in a gorgeous environment!

This place is terrific for 3-4 adults. It is in the forest and just beautiful. About 25 minutes to Musining because it is in the national forest. Loved out stay.

Cozy Cabin in the woods
Our family of four enjoyed our three night stay at this cozy cabin in the UP MI woods. We were about 20-30 minutes away from Munising area and the western entrance of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after long hikes. We enjoyed cooking and the cabin had all that we needed to make our meals. It is a drive on many miles of dirt roads to access the cabin so it is remote. It is necessary to have your supplies with you as it is not easy to come and go. The cabin was cozy, quaint, and was decorated very true and authentic to the region down to the smallest of details. Wr loved the rocks as drawer pulls! If you don’t mind a bit of a remote location and drive for your stay, this is an adorable cabin in the woods!

We were so excited when we pulled up to the cabin. It was secluded and inviting. However, when we got out of the car were greeted by a bazillion aggressive mosquitoes! We had to hurry to get the car unpacked so we didn't get bit up! It would have been nice to be forewarned about that. We couldn't bonfire or use the hot tub much because of the mosquitoes; which was one of the main draws to this particular cabin. The cabin was beautiful and fully stocked with all that we needed. The beds were very comfortable except for the flat pillows. However, we didn't sleep very well anyway because the air conditioner didn't work at all. For the price we paid to stay to be comfortable just to be miserable trying to sleep in the heat was extremely unpleasant. I don't think any of us got but 8 hours of sleep total in 2 nights so we weren't in top shape for our 10 mile hike or the 8 hour car ride home.

My friends and I stay are completely thrilled that we stayed in this cabin. They definitely made it feel cozy and relaxing. The road was bumpy getting there but it's sand road and we went when it was raining. Overall we loves it and would recommend this to anyone who was to stay in Michigan.

Great Secluded Honeymoon
Wonderful property secluded in upper Michigan. Was difficult to find driving in at night, but were able to get a hold of the property owners who guided us there. Prepare for bumpy dirt roads, but once you get there, the cabin, hot tub and fire pit are great! Munising area is quiet in May, but they said it gets busy in the summer.

Beautiful place to stay unfortunate circumstance as I was supposed to take a special lady with me to spend my birthday but messed it up a week before we were to leave. Property was great though and took my 2 dogs hiking and we relaxed in the cabin. Roads were rough, take 16mile lake road in if going in spring.

Quaint Cabin
The cabin was very quaint with enough space for my husband and I and our two sons. The kitchen was stocked very well with modern appliances. The hot tub was an excellent bonus. The only downside was the road leading into and out of the property. The dirt road was frozen in the morning and slush in the afternoon. Took almost 30 minutes to get from the cabin to paved roads. The property owner was easy to communicate with.

Love love love this sweet cabin!
My husband and I (+ 1 year old shitzu) stayed here for our honeymoon! It was awesome! The cabin was so clean with so much charm and character! We stayed 2 nights during the winter and the snow was so beautiful which made the property look like a winter wonderland! (They were prompt in snow removal as well!) It was a quick drive to see the Eben ice caves, which was on our bucket list. (An incredible site to see!!!) A local grocery store nearby met all of our needs, which also has a hot deli with delicious chicken pot pies btw! The hosts were great to work with and were prompt communicating with us. Whether you're looking for a romantic get away or family vacation, consider staying here. We would definitely book again! :)

Snowmobile getaway
Awesome cabin tucked way out in the middle of the nowhere. We enjoyed the space and it was exactly how it was described. Came in during a pretty significant snowfall and the driveway was perfectly cleared for us and we felt very welcome. Hot tub felt great after a day of snowmobiling!

Nice cozy cottage in a serene location. Hot tub for the win! Beds were super comfortable and we felt immediately at home here. Beautiful area, just wished the dirt roads to the cottage were graded a bit more (pretty rough ride). Host was readily available and prompt with responses. Overall a great stay, definitely would recommend! P.S. a couple of board games would have been fabulous :-)

My husband and I had a fantastic time at the cabin. This was our first time in the UP and we throughly enjoyed it. We didn’t get a chance to go in the hot tub or light an outside fire because we we’re busy the entire time. The cabin is clean and cozy and I would highly recommend it.

Property was wonderful. adorable cabin in a national forest..secluded just as we were looking for. weather didn't cooperate, dirt roads to access cabin were not in great shape (muddy due to rain) but once there just what we were looking for. Fairly well stocked with most of what you would need (perhaps some soap and coffee would have been super). Check in/out was super easy. Wanted to use fire pit but ran out of time...hot tub was essential in our decision to stay there and was just what we needed after a day of hiking in the cold windy conditions. Love the lights on ouside of cabin and hot tub..very inviting as you're driving up in the dark. If in area again would stay again without question.

Everything at the cabin was as advertised and very nice. Hillary responded very quickly when there was difficulty finding the location. Would recommend including some additional landmark descriptions to the directions. Very nice place to stay.

This cabin was the perfect spot for us to get away from the world for a little bit. A short drive from Munising, and down a few dirt roads in the woods, the cabin and property are beautiful, the fire pit and hot tub were excellent amenities, and the beds were comfortable.
