Avoid if possible

There was no mention of the specific check-in times at the time of booking. The shower was clogged and could therefore not be used. When I wanted to notify reception the next morning (waited between 8am-8:40am), there was nobody there and I had to leave to go to the work related function.

Ice cold experience in otherwise good hotel

At the moment I arrived the window was open, the heater was warm although the thermostat was turned to an off position. It had -7 degrees outside and in the room it was ice cold, too. I shut the window and turned on the heater, but it needed several hours to get warm. Even the blanket was not adequate for that kind of cold room. The blanket given would have been suitable for a warm country, but not for Munich in Winter.

Lage/Frühstück/Service + leider Raucher unterhalb

Die Lage - zur Messe und zur S-Bahn-Station Riehm - super; Service bei der Anreise, beim Frühstück und bei der Abreise gut; Zimmer für den Preise an Messetagen günstig. - Einziger Negativpunkt war, dass ich leider ein Nichtraucherzimmer in einem Nichtraucherhotel hatte, das abends vorm Schlafengehen und morgens zum Aufwachen total in Nikotinschwaden eingenebelt wurde, weil die Raucher, die unterhalb des Zimmers auf der Terasse rauchten, ihren Rauch in mein Zimmer schickten ... und es kaum möglich war, es aus dem Zimmer wieder herauszubekommen (Durchzug ging nicht, weil das zweite Fenster ein Dachfenster nach oben ist - und es dort hinein geregnet hätte. -

Sehr nahe an der Messe gelegen und dadurch zu Fuß erreichbar. Tolles Frühstück. Nach mehreren heißen Tagen war das Zimmer aber extrem warm.

This hotel failed to meet expectations. They charge a higher cost compared to other hotels that are in the city. The staff are rarely at the front desk. The room itself is ok, but the beds aren't the most comfortable. A particular person at the front desk was quite rude to us. It's clear from the high cost, limited working hours, and charging a high price for breakfast that they are penny-pinching. We paid quite a bit for a two night stay and it was not worth it. We won't be returning. Pass on this one.

Alles prima, nur die Chefin an der Rezeption wirkte recht mürrisch. Als ich bei Ankunft nach den Frühstückszeiten gefragt habe, kam die Antwort, "Steht doch hier!" (zeigt genervt auf eine Tafel). Da hätte auch ein Lächeln mit Hinweis gereicht. Das beste am Hotel ist allerdings der genial leckere Inder direkt nebenan (arg viel mehr gibt es dann allerdings auch nicht in der Umgebung).

A great base from which to explore Munich

This hotel is a perfect location for attending the trade fairs held in the nearby centre and for venturing into the city. It is a typical family run german hotel that does bed a breakfast. It is very clean and comfortable and even has a sauna. Would definitely stay here again at it is much more personable than the bigger international hotels nearby and quite a bit cheaper.

In general the hotel was very nice. The rooms were a bit Spartan for my tastes, but for the price it was acceptable. There was not a good food selection nearby, but it was very close to the train. My biggest complaint is that they listed times for breakfast, and served what would be considered a continental breakfast, which was fine. They did not list a price, so I assumed it was included, as it would be at most hotels. When I checked out, they charged me the equivalent of $10 per day for it. Had the price been listed on the sign with the times, I would have skipped it, and gone out for a hot breakfast.

Hyggeligt og velfungerende hotel nær kongrescenter

Det var et rigtig hyggeligt hotel. Søde hjælpsomme medarbejdere, hyggeligt værelse, god morgenmad. Internetforbindelsen virkede men kunne da godt have været lidt hurtigere.

Ideale Unterkunft für Messen

Die Unterkunft war sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Die Entfernung zur Messe war genial. Ich würde dieses Hotel immer wieder gerne buchen.
