We felt we saw the real Mumbai as it was in a commercial district and busy all the time. With deliveries, kids to and from school, cargo being carted around the streets. We had a back room so was quiet at night, which was great for us. Wifi connectivity didn't drop out at all. Hot water was always available (you only need to ask). All the staff and management were friendly and really helpful. The room was basic with no a/c (my choice, to save money). I didn't really need the a/c, although it was hot in Mumbai. The fan was sufficient to keep me cool enough. The area was great. A lot of activity and near a main road and not far from a train station. We booked a 3 bed room and got a double & single. Room was clean & on the quieter side of the building.The shower had poor water pressure and the hot water didn't last very long. Hotel staff were not overly friendly but helpful enough.
