"Very comfortable cottage in a very nice neighborhood. The lake is beautiful and great bike trails. Also nice grocery stores nearby. Thanks for giving us a great place to stay."

"This literally is “Grandma’s House”. It’s a little cottage on a beautiful lake that appears to be in the middle of some minor remodeling being done by the owner. Its asset is the desk and the lake which would be awesome in the summer. But we just needed something for a short visit that was close to my sister’s house in Lake Odessa to attend our brother’s celebration of life. So Grandma’s House was perfect for that. My husband has mobility issues so uses a walker. The entryway was a little challenging but we managed. In the living area there is another step down to go out the back which also would have been challenging."

"We did not stay. Questionable neighborhood. Water and hanging wires in the basement. Upstairs shower not usable. Muddy driveway. Seller refused reimbursement even though we did not stay. Just a creepy property. Refused to return cleaning fee even though we did not stay. If I would have been given the address before reserving we would not have booked it."

"The room wasn't properly cleaned. There was mold/ mildew along the entire bottom of shower curtain. The TV remotes were absolutely filthy & gross with lots of gunk around & on buttons. The ceiling tiles were 75% falling down, you could actually see between the ceiling squares & the space above it with "stuff ??" hanging In there. There were scratches & many repair spots on walls. The sheets I'm not even sure were clean, but was too tired to walk down & up the 600 steep stairs again, but they also do many snags & straggly threads. One of the TVs didn't work more than 25% of the time. It would work for a 1 - 3 minutes & then it was of again, that was constant which finally made it too annoying to even bother. Overall... I will never have any desire to stay again & certainly will not recommend it to any else. This was my husband & my 1st "vacation/ stay cation" in 10 years & it was miserable. We left feeling worse than when we arrived. I hope future guests will find many repairs & upgrades that will make a more enjoyable stay than we had."

"Great property. We were there just for a weekend bike race in Hastings, but believe it would also be a fantastic summer getaway at the lake. House was clean and well furnished. Owners provided lots of little touches, showing their passion for their property and their guests. Would recommend."
