"Our stay in the Tin Shed was very enjoyable, with fine and sunny weather. The king bed is comfortable and all the amenities expected of a farm stay were provided. There is no wifi on the property, but 4g worked ok on phone. We sat outside undercover mostly, or in the garden, surrounded by the grape vines. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and their pet dog and goat completed the picture. "

"House was retro which we knew. It is only 2 bedrooms and there is a single bed in entry. I felt they were a bit stingy only allowing one towel per person. I normally use two. One for my hair and one for body. A/c in most rooms. Would be concerned in a fire though as some windows were locked. Lovely back yard. Very central location. Would stay again if I ever go back to Mudgee."

"We had an amazing time in Mudgee staying at Ithaca cottage, all communication and guides sent across were great and the cottage is so beautiful and quiet in a stunning location with alpacas, sheep, kangaroos, cows and bunnies all present on our dog walks. Fully fenced for anyone with dogs and only 15min or so to the town and even less to the wineries, would definitely recommend!"

However, the property manager was very quick to rectify the situation, providing us with complimentary coffees at a local cafe while the house was being cleaned. "Cosy modern villa with all the essentials for a short stay for our family of 4. Short walk or drive to local cafes, supermarkets and playground. Quiet neighbourhood although we did hear the construction noises from the properties on both sides from early in the morning. Villa has a kitchen and laundry with all appliances. They were even able to provide a portacot and baby bath tub. Central heating was appreciated on the cold Mudgee mornings! Only negative would be the very narrow lock up garage...
