Mt. Solmar Tours and Activities

For the price I paid, I would not recommend this hotel to my family or friends. Some staff members had a bad attitude, and the property was not well maintained. I understand that the weather was hot and humid, which is understandable for the location. However, the main restaurant, where we had breakfast and lunch, had a non-functioning air conditioning system. As a result, it was extremely hot inside, making it difficult to enjoy our meals comfortably. I have stayed at many hotels, and in my experience, the restaurants generally have properly functioning air conditioning to ensure guests can enjoy their meals in comfort. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. Considering the price paid, I expected a much better level of service, property maintenance, and overall comfort. The experience did not meet my expectations, and I do not believe the hotel offers good value for the money.

You get a beautiful view from almost all locations. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I didn't eat at all of the restaurants but the pizza at Il Forno was good. As were the drinks! I would have liked to see a few Mexican options on the menu, but, I could have ventured around the property to a different restaurant if it was really an issue. It was low season, but they seemed fully staffed and everything was open. The only comment I have is that I waited over an hour for help with my luggage on check out, despite making several calls. I had given myself plenty of time for the airport, but that could have been an issue for someone on a tighter schedule.
