"We had family stay here for 2 nights. They said the bed was very comfortable (not too hard or too soft) and slept great each night. The building is extremely well maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is standard fare of fruit, eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, etc., but was very fresh and flavorful. The fruit was fresh and the coffee was great. Would definately stay here again and recommend to friends and family."

"Clean facilities, There is a will equipped kitchen in the room, with microwave, fridge with freezer, and other amenities. There is also a free breakfast that includes two fruits, three kinds of muffins, and fruit flavored bars. Of course there are coffee and tea as well. There were several options near the motel for dinner to include Five Guys hamburger, an Italian restaurant, a Sushi restaurant, and others. The cost for the room is also reasonable. I'll definitely stay there if I drive through Chesapeake again. Nice place!"

"The property is a lovely, quiet destination where you can relax and enjoy beautiful scenery. This is a a nature-lover’s delight as you can marvel at waterfront sunrise/sunsets, bird watch, fish, and cruise around on your kayaks (and that’s just at the property — Kitty Hawk beach is an easy 30 ride away). The renovations throughout and ample room sizes makes this an excellent choice for families. My husband and I plan to buy a set of those Turkish Cotton towels! They were an added bonus after a nice shower!! Highly recommended!! We would visit again."
