  • This centrally located stay is just one block from Main Street and a short walk to Cornell, making it easy to explore, dine, and enjoy the area without a car.

    Great for families and groups, the home sleeps up to 9 guests (including one queen air mattresses and 1 twin air mattress that are provided).
    Relax with porch games, puzzles, board games, Nintendo Switch, and N64.

    From game nights to downtown strolls, your perfect getaway starts here. Unique Facts:
    -the house was built in 1900
    -the plant hanger in the living room is an antique mule muzzle
    -the cuckoo clock in the living room was brought back from Germany by Josh‘s grandmother
    -the horse bookends on the entertainment center were inherited from Emily‘s great-grandfather
    -on the plate rack in the dining room there is a hand painted plate of Emily’s grandparents’ farm (Hillview)
    -on the plate rack in the dining room is a stamp of the house that was given to Emily and Josh upon purchasing the home
    -the doors used for the headboard of the guest room are the doors from the United Methodist Church uptown where Josh and Emily and seven other family members over six generations were married

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO for the weekend while attending our niece’s wedding. The house was beautiful, exceptionally clean, and had so many thoughtful little touches that made us feel right at home. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during such a special family weekend, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming home away from home. We enjoyed coffee on the porch swing each morning!

My husband and I loved this rental house! It had beautiful furnishings and very comfortable beds! The sheets on the master bed were like sleeping in melted buttah! I actually ordered a set for my home. Emily was a lovely host and replied promptly to my messages. The house was FULLY stocked with everything we needed including extra touches like cold bottled water, cooled wine and freshly baked cookies. We’ve stayed in rental houses across the world and this stay exceeded our expectations!
