I thought the room could've been alot cleaner behind the bathroom door dirt,behind front door dirty,,,the carpet needs replacing or scrubbed my sacks were filthy i mean filthy ....just felt the rest of the room was just filthy as these small things are being unaddressed it just says how well the cleaning was

This property is horrible. The front desk person gave me keys to rooms that were already occupied. Not once but twice and said it wasn’t his fault and I should not be upset. Needless to say, I didn’t stay there.

My stay was in room #135. Woke up at 2:30am to find bed bugs in my bed. Luckily, I live in the charleston area so I went home immediately. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

The room was dirty and there was cockroaches all over the room coming out of the air vents. Black mold all over the place. The room reeked like mildew and mold. The power went out early in the morning called front desk she said she was sending maintenance but they NEVER came. The Wi-Fi didn’t work said no internet connection available. Checked out 3 hours early because of everything.

Property was run down, trash containers were overflowing. Shopping carts randomly around in odd areas. The room was also run down, Spots on the wall and lights switches, paint peeling from the bath tub, thankfully no rug, but we still didn’t want to take our shoes off. Desk staff friendly and tried to be helpful but their resources were limited. Asked for 2 extra towels and they said they would bring them to me when they are out of the dryer. We paid $170 a night so I wasn’t expecting 5 star but I was expecting more than what I got.

The room smelled musty, the carpet was filthy, the phone didn"t work, the bed was way too soft, the pillows were crap, we got locked out of the room twice and the "grab & go" breakfast was a joke! The best thing about the place was the coffee maker in the office. Don't stay here.

I do not recommend staying at this hotel, unless you absolutely have to. The doors are paper thin so you can hear everything that happens outside your room, the hairdryer for my room didn't work, and I saw at least three cockroaches during my stay. Avoid if you can.

The toilet in our room wasn’t even attached to the ground so when you moved it was almost like the toilet wanted to fall over. Lamp shades could use an upgrade, almost looks like water damage. The shades didnt shut all of the way so you had to use a safety pin to keep them closed. Mattress upgrades are a must, the springs felt like they were about to shoot out of the bed

There probably better choices in the area
Was very disappointed. Our first room was still occupied and the second room had a smell of people previously smoking in the room. We did not have a remote in the room and called the front desk and they did respond very timely with one for us. The "free" breakfast was a grab and go since they had no room for people to sit and eat. We will not be staying at this location again.

A Decent Stay
We stay in cheaper hotels. We don't expect perfection. This Days Inn is pretty nice overall. The beds were new (and huge! I had to climb up to get in bed) and the room was clean. The TV and fridge worked. The other guests were a bit loud and there was a leaf blower or something that went by our room at odd hours, but not a big deal. The location was great for us and the check in was quick and easy, no surprises.

Not a great experience
The first room we were given smelled terrible. Cigarette odor was overwhelming. Front desk gave me another room that had a strong “musty” odor . This was kind of a last minute trip, next time we will plan further ahead and spend more money on a room. It would be worth it as we could not wait to check out of here.
