After researching the reservation, I found that no mention of any issues had been made until today, when you came down with your bags to check out a day early due to weather. The reservation was a non-cancellable one and I understand you being upset with not getting refunded. This is why I recommend everyone book a flex rate, although a little higher, is like insurance.
