Perfect location
We stayed for two nights and this was a great location. We fished off the dock, walked into downtown Mount Dora both afternoons (about a 25 minute walk). Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would recommend the property to anyone wanting to near Mount Dora.

Beautiful location
We initially chose Mt Dora for a quick 3 night getaway because we’d never been before, and the town looked quaint and peaceful. But, what we fell in love with was the setting, the lake, the view, the privacy, and the cottage itself. We spent almost all of our time on the dock, or relaxing in and near the cottage. We kayaked and swam, took leisurely strolls, and listened to music surrounded by nature. We had everything we needed, and although very small, it was comfortable and close to perfect for our few days of downtime. We would return to the area in a heartbeat, and would recommend the cottage to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation.
