« Good hotel but it’s far from the city proper. Every time we need to eat and shop we have to take a taxi which additional to our budget. The restaurant in the hotel closes early and at breakfast there’s not much choice. Otherwise, have a nice view of the horizon including the Taal volcano. »

« This place has character. The staff was excellent and accommodating, very friendly and responsive. The rooms are a bit old but clean, everything works, good air conditioner, and decorated with antiques, handmade local items, even a large bookcase with hundreds of interesting older books. The parking is onsite, a bit crowded Saturday night but no one blocked you in and there is overflow parking right outside the gate just a few dozen meters from your room. Very laid back service, we pulled...

« I’ve stayed in many places around the world the space is perfect, it is very spacious and accommodating. My room was excellent for relaxation, especially being use to climate back home. Having the air con made it very comfortable. I was only there for one night and had an early check out but I could see that staying for a longer duration would be very easy to do. « The place was beautiful, so much greenery and such a spacious, lush area. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Dennis was amazing and made efforts to help us with what we needed! Breakfast at the cafe was great at the Evergreen. The food at One Fishing Place Floating restaurant was decent, but wasn’t too appetizing. However, I would say the staff made the stay memorable. « Great view of Taal lake. Kitchen is fully functional with kettle, microwave and fridge. also provided utensils , soap, towels etc , unlike most places i’ve stayed at recently. Wi-fi and TV are decent . Street noise and music can be heard - as is normal in many tourist spots. Security is very good. »

« The rooms were not ready with toiletries when we got to the rooms. We had to ask for toilet paper and have the rooms dusted. Positive note: the pool was very good and clean and the dining area was clean. »

« Rooms are clean and spacious. You can really sleep comfortably with their clean linens. You can bring in and cook food . Lacking kitchen appliances though like kettle, microwave , oven toaster. Cooking stove we had has 1 burner working, the other is useless :( That was time consuming working on a single burner. Door knobs are defective, aircon units are outmodeled (you can hear it working at nighttime) and the other acu in 1 room leaks. Bulb in 1 CR was busted. As for toiletries, shampoos and...
