Hotel Casa Treviño

Hotel Casa Treviño

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is perfect in every aspect, specially for couples that want a romantic place and good for families too. The staff Angie, Maricarmen, and Alex were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is the best we've ever had in a hotel. It was so good that we decided to stay an extra night. Also, it's centrally located and you can walk to the city center and even up the hill to the windmills"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Mota Del Cuervo?
The best area to stay in Mota del Cuervo is near the iconic windmills, particularly around the area known as the "Cerro de los Molinos" (Windmill Hill).

This area is the defining feature of Mota del Cuervo, offering stunning views of the La Mancha plains and the famous windmills that inspired Cervantes. Staying here puts you right at the heart of the region's cultural heritage. The main cluster of windmills, including the restored "El Gigante" (The Giant) which is often open to visitors, is easily accessible.

Couples looking for a memorable and picturesque stay will find this location ideal. Imagine waking up to views of the windmills and enjoying a quiet evening stroll as the sun sets over the plains. There are a few top guesthouses and rural hotels in this area that offer a peaceful retreat while still being close to the town centre's amenities.

For those who prefer to be closer to the everyday life of the town, staying just below the Windmill Hill, closer to the Calle Mayor and the Plaza Mayor, is a good alternative. This puts you within easy walking distance of local restaurants and shops, while still having the windmills just a short walk up the hill.
When is the best time to go to Mota Del Cuervo?
The best time to visit Mota del Cuervo is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months, when the weather is most pleasant.

Spring offers mild temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the windmills and the surrounding countryside. The landscape is lush and green, and you'll find comfortable conditions for walking or cycling. This period is particularly good for couples looking to enjoy the natural beauty without the heat of summer.

Autumn also provides agreeable weather, with warm days and cooler evenings. The harvest season brings a different kind of beauty to the vineyards, and it's a great time to experience local traditions and cuisine.
