Cedar Creek Hotel Wausau - Rothschild

"I wasn't sure what to expect, because we got a really amazing price. Upon arrival we were very pleasantly surprised that the property looked even better than in photos online. It was updated, well-kept, smelled clean, and beautiful. Love the log cabin "up north" feel. Our room was a king suite with a fireplace and a pullout couch for the kids. We were thrilled with our room. The beds were fairly comfortable (I'm very picky). There's a Keurig style coffee maker, a large mini fridge, a kitchen sink, plenty of plug ins, and even a cute little desk. In the lobby, you can get coffee and cookies 24/7. We were gréeted nicely, given all pertinent info, and when we asked for extra supplies they were given without a problem. During our stay, our toilet got clogged, and at first they gave us a plunger to fix it ourselves. That plunger was broken, so maintenance came up and fixed it for us. Breakfast was just ok. The biscuits and bagels were a little hard, and the eggs were what you'd expect of mass cooked food. They did have ketchup and taco sauce packets which helped. It was kept well stocked. Hotel stayed quiet. My one complaint was a guy knocked on our door to ask when we were checking out at 9:30am. Checkout is 11. I said in a little bit, and he said "stay another night?" (Not great English). I said no. We will check out in 45 minutes or so. He said ok and left. But I found that off putting and weird. Overall really great stay and would come again."

"We enjoyed spending our 30th Wedding Anniversary at Comfort Inn and Suites in Weston. It was so clean and comfortable. Kenny was fantastic. He is a great people person. Our breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely recommend this Hotel to everyone."

"We had a great stay in a clean and comfortable room. The lower floor was under lots of construction, so there was a bit of dust and noise. The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. Pool area was clean and we enjoyed the hot tub."
