Fully private with BBQ and breakfast supply's provided tea, herbal teas, coffee, bread, milk, cereals and preserves . 5min to Greytown with nice restaurants and 8min to Martinborough, famous wine country with great restaurants . We've been to lovely hotels and B&Bs but this stay gave us the true rest we were looking for. We were met by Tom, who is a true gentleman, he showed us around and had baked fresh bread for us with butter, milk and breakfast waiting. No oven or cooktop but the bbq was adequate. Chooks visited each day and the paddocks, with the cows in, were only metres from the French doors. Not for everyone but it rejuvenated our souls. Far enough out of town to be away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to only be a short drive to the town centre. Tom was just lovely, so welcoming and friendly, and the fresh bread and spreads were a lovely touch. Thanks Tom for lighting the fire for us and making it toasty and warm to settle into. Lovely place to stay, comfortable bed and seating, great shower pressure, lovely outlook and private setting. Delightful to have breakfast out in the sun looking across the fields and watching the bird life. Nice and close for Wairarapa mini adventures and dinners.
