"Such an amazing place to stay. Beautiful property right on a beach that is perfect for swimming. I stayed in a room which faced the ocean. Very private and quiet at night. The host prepared breakfast for me in the morning which was delicious including fresh fruits and homemade juice. The room was extremely clean. I would recommend this to anyone wishing for a clean and relaxing place to stay near Beruwala."
"Unfortunately this place is in desperate need of investment. The kerb appeal is very good but the jetty for example is falling into the river and not as pictured. The room wasn't very clean which is a great pity as the owner is very friendly. The food was lovely, we had both Breakfast and evening meals and could not fault them.
It just a great shame that it is not as good as it could be. If the owner makes a investment in his property he could definitely charge more to stay."
"Stannade där i 3 nätter, bra service från hotell ägaren som var trevlig. Polen fin men vi ville mera vara vid havet. De körde en till stranden gratis med tuktuk vilket var riktigt bra, stranden är fin men det finns så många finare stränder och städer på Sri lanka som jag mer skulle rekommendera att besöka.
Helt okej vistelse men skulle inte välja att bo här igen."
"Příjemné ubytování v rodinné vile (5 pokojů), čisto, majitelé jsou velmi přátelští, mluví anglicky a německy, v zahradě restaurace s místní i mzn. kuchyní, velmi dobré jídlo. 100m na pláž. Blízko je útes, prima šnorchlování."
"We stayed here twice in a week. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the location as well. One of the few good quality accommodations near beruwala.
This villa is owned by a very nice family, who were so accommodative, and helped us and we're very flexible.
They also prepared good breakfast and provided nice conversation.
Highly recommend for travellers and business in the area. "
"What a lovely location! I selected this hotel on a whim to relax after a busy tour. What a lovely place on a quiet cobblestone lane. The back faces the lagoon with a lovely view, water sports are available and the front faces the ocean and long sandy beach. Exquisite rooms, delightful staff, a charming hotel. A pleasant walk or tuk tuk to town. I enjoyed my stay. A little off the beaten path but so worth it. Oh and there is a small pool which I didn't use as the ocean was warm and so close."
"excellent staff who could not do enough to make sure your stay was as you would want it.Pool was wonderfully warm and gardens were exquisite and very colourful.
Trains were noisy but interesting and after a while you did not notice them."
