"If you are booking last minute for Lake Ohrid and you need a room with a bed and a bathroom at a reasonable price, this is a place for that, but not much more. It's about 5 minutes downhill to the nearest beach and to town. Uphill is a climb and doable for the able bodied, but not recommend for those with mobility issues. The owner will kindly offer pick up at the bus station; take him up on it as you won't find this place on your own. Lake Ohrid in general is lively and has a great vibe, don't...

"Check in was good with helpful service. Hotel is in a great location and from outside looked good, even with indoor smoking (the norm in Macedonia). The view on to the lake is first rate and we had a corner suite. However the room was tired and needing significant work. Shower that spat water, kitchen with cracked bench and exposed wires. Common areas of hotel were filthy and . Overall a bit disappointing "

"I stayed in this hotel with my daughter for a quick visit in Ohrid. The receptionists were accommodating and the restaurant staff were helpful. The food in the breakfast buffet were not great. The room was dirty & dusty. The cleaner simply empties the bin and didn't clean our room. I had to prompt her to vacuum. Our booked room was a regular room and when I saw it, it was so disappointing. My daughter & I travel quite often and I can say that it's never a 4 star standard, not even 3 star!...

Top Monuments of Saints Cyril and Methodius Hotel Reviews

Cozy apartment in the heart of Ohrid

10/10 Excellent

"The apartment is in a good location for food options as well as being close to Old Town. Ivo is very attentive and answers questions quickly. The apartment is small but it suited our needs perfectly. Free off sight parking is basically around the corner, but its safe to park on the street if a space is available. I really have only one recommendation. Please update the photos that are used to find the place. There is quite a bit of construction going on all around so since the photos were taken things look different plus the pin that was dropped is not close by at all. Try to arrive before dark and contact Ivo the moment you begin to have problems finding the place. It is a newly renovated building and the area was quite safe in my opinion."

Villa Varosh

10/10 Excellent

"Coming from California with wide lanes, we had trouble driving to it. But the staff come to to meet us and direct us in. They have parking not far, but my husband couldn't find it. No problem, he found a safe place anyway. The owner and her daughter were very friendly & helpful. They spoke perfect English. Would highly recommend the beautiful hotel, right in old town. We never needed our car."

Villa Chingo

10/10 Excellent

"The owner appeared an hour after we arrived somewhat early, and cordially greeted us, and helped us settle in, and made recommendations on where to eat that evening, and prepared a very nice breakfast the next morning."
