Amazing second stay here! Excellent communication with management. Quiet and clean. Close to literally everything. I will stay here again and again. Love that you can pick up groceries for your own meals in the stocked kitchen so that you can splurge on a meal out later on. Highly recommend to all my friends visiting Montreal.

Great location! And even though the property is right on a busy street, our litte apartment (#10) was very quiet. Lots of natural light, and a little balcony as well. The windows all opened, so I could get fresh air as well. We stayed for 4 nights and there are just a few small things that would have made the stay just a little better. A few more towels (a hand towel and wash cloth would have been nice, a dish cloth and a dish towel) and a few drawers to put away clothes would have been lovely. But really, great place, I would definitely book again. Close to metro and in the heart of a beautiful walkable neighbourhood.

Amazing solo weekend trip
Incredible customer service. Prompt response times and great at accommodating for last minute things. Even though the shower did not have proper sealing (water would always pour onto the floors) the staff was still accommodating and brought extra towels and were just so nice. I would just make sure sealing has been replaced when booking because it was definitely a bit annoying. But I’m still leaving a 5 star review because everything else was excellent. The actual apt was so cute and had everything you need for a quick or long term stay. Highly recommend and will be returning.

This property is so lovely! clean, cozy, safe & stunning! I had such a gorgeous stay and it will be my first choice when visiting Montreal! The location was perfect and although parking was a little tricky, I was always able to snag a street spot when I needed one.

Great location in the Plateau. Large bilingual bookstore across the street. Many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Mont Royal metro station is an easy walk. Apt is small but modern and well appointed. New appliances in the kitchen and a modern feel.

The building was clean in a fantastic location. Everything was as advertised. I wouldn’t stay in the studio again. The bathroom was microscopic so we couldn’t help but get water all over the floor. Next time we’ll stay in a bigger unit. The call center was responsive and helpful. Use the call center instead of sending messages through Expedia. None of the messages I sent were received, but again, the people at the call center were great.

It was a breeze to get the code. The only little not even issue but stumble was the code to the front to access the building was wrong but Ariel fixed it immediately. My check in was at 3 but since I arrived early (11:30 am) my room was already ready. The area it is in is amazing you're close to alot of restaurants and shopping. Few minutes drive from Old Montreal and the mall. It was like I lived there. The stairs are a bit narrow, tight and windy but if Im able to climb them in 5 inch heels after a night of drink without falling it is manageable for the price it was amazing and I truly have no complaints the room was tidy and made for me, the bed was comfy. I would give this a try.

I got in touch with the property manager to let them know that there was a few issues with my suite: the floors were not properly swept, the bathroom amenities were not fully stocked and a lightbulb was missing from the bedside sconce. They came into the suite the following day, swept and refilled the items in the bathroom but did not replace the lightbulb. There was no further communication as to why they hadn’t replaced it or when it would get replaced. Overall, it was a great place to stay, nicely designed, easy to access, great location — I just wish they paid more attention to the details.

I am very happy with my stay it was truly my home away from home and I will be back. I could get around everywhere so easily as so close to metro, in a beautiful area of the city and the accomodations were so clean and lovely. I wanted to cook and was able to easily do that too. Everything was great here. When I had questions I called or emailed and I received a response immediately.

Had a great time staying here for the weekend. The room was super clean, comfortable and convenient. The location is perfect with lots of dining and shopping right on the block. Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting and will for sure book again on my next visit!!

The good: Nice place to stay. Comfortable beds, great shower, clean, and excellent location. Well soundproofed against the street noise on St Denis. Nicely decorated as well. The bad: Our dishwasher didn't seem to work, we had a broken chair in the living room, the shower door wouldn't stay closed so water got all over the bathroom floor, and there wasn't much soap in the dispensers and we had to find the refills and do that ourselves. The living room could use a couple of lamps - the overhead lighting is harsh and unpleasant in there. On average it took over 24 hours to get an email response for questions about parking etc too which was a bit stressful. All minor issues that could be easily addressed.

Had a great stay here for a weekend in Montreal. Easy to find, in a great central area in the heart of the Plateau. Spacious and clean apartment that is very quiet at night. Close to bars, restaurants, and transit. Great spot.

Excellent location and amenities. Close to Mont Royale metro which will get you most places in Montreal. Great variety of food available and street entertainment around Mont Royale. Highly recommended.

Loved my "home" in Montreal
Loved staying here. I had a very comfortable stay, a peaceful and lovely "away from it all" place with all I needed. It felt very "local" with a typical curving stairway out my back door and a view of a gorgeous blooming tree. The coffee was very good and I really enjoyed having a kitchen. Great communication with host. Would love to stay here again.

We were staying in the wonderful apartments that was slap bang in the area we wanted. We would love to own a property like this we felt so at home. When we come back to Montreal we will be booking this apartment again. The area is perfect, the apartment is so so clean, it felt really cosy, the bed is comfortable, the layout is great. The apartment and host are 10/10. Thank you!!

Very nice apartment in a super convenient location! Would stay here again. It was especially nice to have a fully stocked kitchen and private balcony. One thing to note, the mattress in our room was on the squishy side & didn’t provide much support. Not the end of the world for us, but people who need a firmer bed due to back problems etc. should be aware.

We were in Montreal planning a small wedding and stayed at Maison Francois Denis for a few nights. Our room was lovely. Clean, quiet and comfortable and easily accessible by metro. A little home away from home. We will certainly be back!

This place was a great stay. Heart of the city, 30 minute walk to basically anywhere like the cathedral, or we in our case a mural festival. Lots of cute shops near by, grocery store just a short hop away. Room was nice and tidy, coffee in ample supply. Uber had a easy time parking out front. It was a great place to stay for a week.

Fantastic location and lovely, modern apartment. Bedroom a little cramped, but manageable. Be aware that this is a two story walk-up, so not suitable for those who have mobility issues (or a lot of luggage!).

François-Denis Apartments are clean, easy to check-in and are centrally located near for a fun stay in Montreal. I stayed with my brother for 4 nights and we found it was very pleasant and comfortable. There is a nice little balcony where you can sit on a warm evening and enjoy the weather and people-watching. My only real issue is that with the A/C head for the 2 bed unit is located in the main living room area only and circulation into the bedrooms is limited even with the doors open. For cooler days this is maybe not an issue, but it was quite unpleasant after one of the warmer days towards the end of May. It might be mitigated if there were a ceiling fan or even just a simple plug-in fan to help circulate air.

We spent 4 nights as a couple in Room 6 and it was wonderful. It had just enough space for us to do a bit of work on our laptops, make some meals, and relax. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet overlooking a courtyard, so we both slept well. Everything was super clean and the design/furnishings were well thought out. The area is perfect to explore Montreal by foot and we did just that by leaving our car in the parking garage recommended by the host which was very affordable and an easy 20 minute walk away. We also rode the subway from the nearby Mont Royal metro station for distances that were a bit further away, or when uber was surge pricing. We had to call and message a few times to get the check-in process explained, but once we had that it was perfectly clear. So even though the hosts were not initially responsive (which I had read in other reviews prior to booking), we would, without hesitation, stay here again and recommend to others.

This place is a gem. Well located, quiet and clean. Care was put into having everything on hand that you'd need for a comfortable stay. Communication was great, the cost was reasonable and the interior wasn't corporate or garish. I would stay again and heartily recommend.
