While we didn't do any golfing, we found it to be the perfect locale for our hiking trip - it provided easy access to Moab and Arches NP, Canyonlands NP and Cedar Mesa. Moab has turned into such a busy place, and Monticello proved to be much more peaceful. The house was clean, cozy and comfortable, and had all the basics needed to support our activities. We didn't do much besides sleep, eat and bathe there, but the views of the Abajo Mountains were excellent. And while it is close to US-191 the house was very quiet. The bathroom was spacious, clean and modern, and the mattresses were quite comfortable. Loved the native stone landing off the front porch! I liked the porch entry to use as a staging area while unpacking and packing and to help avoid tracking in the pea gravel.
