The home has high vaulted ceilings, many large picture windows & sliding doors to take advantage of panoramic views of the ocean and a direct path to the beach. The view was beautiful and the beach was just steps away. The large kitchen was fully stocked with spices, oils, coffee, appliances (blender, cuisinart, toaster, and slow cooker for example) and all the dishes and utensils one could possibly need. We enjoyed the closet with puzzles and games which also housed movies and beach toys and equipment for the various courts at the nearby clubhouse. We were able to kayak at Elkhorn Slough, visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel and Point Lobos and even volunteer for a day at Esalen from this perfect peaceful base. ##### Ellen F.
