Montellano Vacation Packages

I was very disappointed with my stay. The room had a strong musty, mold like smell that was unpleasant throughout our stay. There was also no Wi-Fi, which was extremely inconvenient. The biggest issue was the lack of an elevator. Having to carry strollers, suitcases, and all of our belongings up to the third floor was exhausting especially for families with young children or anyone traveling with heavy luggage. This is a major accessibility issue that the resort should seriously address. An elevator isn’t a luxury it’s a necessity for a property with multiple floors. I expected a much more comfortable experience.

Food was repetitive, they never have space for restaurants reservations.

Very Pricey didnt get access to good restaurantes and to many amenities far from the good places not impress would not invest in the presidencial suites at Life style again poor Quality for soo much money great staff hard working people

I paid for VIP once getting to the hotel. The check in process was easy and the person who helped us was great. We were instructed to go to the VIP Lounge where the receptionist was supposed to give us our VIP bracelets and other goodies. She was too busy on the phone and did not provide us with additional information. One of the days, water was dripping from the AC and light fixture. I called maintenance and they said the AC was defrosting and they will come back in an hour and I never heard from them again. Another night, I went to one of the speciality restaurants (Mexican) and after waiting 30 mins after being seated, our order was not taken and tacos were given to us. It seemed like it was left over meat put into tacos. Then the buffet was closed and we were not able to have dinner. The waiters/servers ignored us sometimes and once when I asked for water someone sucked their teeth. I understand this hotel is on the affordable end in puerto plata but the service has to be better. I have never experience anything like this. It was disappointing.
