"People were absolutely awesome at the Good Place B&B. I felt so welcomed during my entire stay, from checking in to check in out and every breakfast in between, which were great and delicious by the way. A great place to spend a few days away in nature, but a close drive to many historic locations and natural attractions in the area. The rooms amenities could use some improvement (new towels and linen come to mind). Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. "

Location was absolutely perfect - far enough away from downtown Staunton that you can appreciate the beauty of the surrounding nature, but also be close enough to the many shops and restaurants. "We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet...

"We loved our stay at The Gin. The front desk was helpful and kind when we arrived. She gave us helpful advice about the area. There were several cute shops in walking distance as well. The room was clean and had a nice size bathroom. The hotel is older and has a nice historic vibe. The balcony restaurant upstairs was a nice place to eat and get a great street view."
